The Reset all settings method is worked for me. But there is a few steps, that you should check to get this to work.

First make sure, this is because software problem not hardware, you can check if this a soft or hard problem by using other camera apps (using instagram) to check if it work.

If the camera work in other apps. Then the reset all setting will do fine.

If not working in other camera apps. You should go to apple. You waste your time by reset, hard reset, turn camera on 10minute,etc.

yes there is a way to fix it! My iphone had warranty but it finished.the problem with all of your iphones. the ribbons that connect to the motherboard from the front camera are loose or there is some dirt next to the front camera or the earpiece mesh is not a legit apple one which is interfering with the iphone sensor.

so this is what you need to do ,open your iphone and clean it next to the front camera and take of the ribbons and give them a blow especially the one coming from the front camera,put the ribbons back and it should work ,hope this helps

thanks kid. worked for me. My camera gets stuck every time i push the button to switch to the secondary camera. So.... I am never pushing that button again, and hopefully i won't have to do this again.
