David Mustaine however, is a really cool example of the Christianity I AM a part of. The real thing here, he walks the walk and practices the principals set forth in scripture and when he falls he admits it . He shows no "holier than thou" crud. I was so happy to see David Ellefson was back and glad to have seen them at the American Carnage tour at Arco Arena,I like the story of how Mustaine had an apartment above Ellefson and was annoyed at him playing over and over Van Halen's Bass line to Running With THE Devil. That probably started to get the ball rolling to what is now MEGADETH.

I was so happy to see David Ellefson was back and glad to have seen them at the American Carnage tour at Arco Arena,I like the story of how Mustaine had an apartment above Ellefson and was annoyed at him playing over and over Van Halen's Bass line to Running With THE Devil. That probably started to get the ball rolling to what is now MEGADETH.

@MrJinonymous after reading daves book it says how mustaine wanted out of the band to go to his real life with wife and kids so he turned the band over to ellefson, then later that day ellefson came back to dave and said i cant do this without my running mate so he quit the band 2 and there was no more megadeth but before 2004s the system has failed mustaine got the band back together with the rust in peace lineup w/o marty and then ellefson sued over rights of the band for it was turned to him

Since WHEN has "born again" EVER been associated with MEGADETH? Does Dave carry a bible and/or crucifix on tour (with him)? Given Dave's "new" attitude or "outlook," maybe Megadeth should tour with Stryper.

Nick is never coming back unless he changes his ways! Nick Menza got fired for a second time because Shawn was his drum tech and Nick acted like and asshole to him right in front of Dave and Glen! So Dave fired is ass! Reason #2 he is really messed up on Meth! Dave doesn't want that in the band! And Marty is not coming back because he doesn't want to!He left Megadeth!. He likes pop not metal! that is why nick and marty are not in the band!

@1worldwhosedream James left on his own. He was going to do his thing with white lion getting back together, and he had some other projects. So their isn't any bad blood with james and mustaine. Hell james said he was thrilled that ellefson was back.

@zonic26 Maybe he saw what Dave wanted to do in certain songs as being too commercial, or the stuff wasn't fast enough. I don't know either way; ask him yourself, I guess. Like I said, both bands' early material really isn't so dissimilar musically and has changed over time, of course.
