Conventional spoon is the kind of person who avoids liking a wine that tastes good for fear it might lack impact and relevance on other wines. Musical education can further the ears appreciation, but over-analysis can lead to great discontentment. Many listeners have become far too jaded, especially when it comes to slagging off modern bands for re-running a Beatles hook or criticising a new song of lacking emotion. I'm not a big SFA fan (yet) but I can easily see their appeal...

There have been very few bands/musicians producing any truly ground breaking music over the past few decades. Every band has been influenced by somebody. Music is progressive but can also be cyclical, do you not agree?

The primary reason why SFA are held with such high regard by critics and discerning music fans is due to the diversity of influence in their music.
