i remember fighting you crazy(below) i beat you in only my third online battle,it was numidia vs carthage cwb rules which you then broke by having too many cavalry!

as soon as smashed your infantry you quit the game pretending to have connection problems,pull your net cable out much,lol! :-)

That was a good game i will upload my version when i have a good connection. I lost cause my archers could not hurt ures even tho ures had no upgrades and were in tight formation and i got surrounded a lot :)

How can you tell if its a loss, hm? it doesnt tell you, unless he labeled them loss on the title, or could it be that your making it up ?

Most people have trouble with using them effectively.

You have to be more creative with them to win, and can't rely on superior cavalry(praetorian, catas) or infantry (sacred band, urbans) to win a battle.

whats better an experience upgrade or an attack or deffence or both upgrade

Attack and defense upgrades. I'd only ever take experience after having either gold attack or defense, so I could more than just gold att/def.

Units best suited to this are light cavalry, or cheap infantry such as Iberians/skirmishers. Although, sometimes I do use it on sacred bands/armored hoplites.

Sure thing, my xfire is on my main page, it's the best way to catch me for a game.

If you don't have xfire, download it. It's rather small and simple to use. It will allow you to get some games in with some pretty cool guys, which will get you in shape for playing random clan guys and better guys in the lobby.

i would recomend when withdrawing under archer fire (early on with the nfanatics) to change to loose formation it i do it a lot cause it cuts you casualty in half and u need that if they are shooting at ur back

nice manuvering and that epic charge was awsome lol

PS could u have used foresters to attack cav?

they actualy do pretty well plus you cav and the other troops i think u would have won that part

I did use the foresters in melee, but it was missed due to the Chosen swordsmen envelopment going on at the same time.

They weren't in a great position to take on the cavalry, being at the other side of my army, and I usually only use them as anti cav when I have a hill or forest advantage to bolster them (unless against barbarian light, or other light cavalry).
