  • trying to stay unda gound ...

  • Really good documentary FutureSoundLondon, really have inspired me considering I am a new 18 year old electronic producer from Essex.

  • This whole documentary smells suspiciously as if the participators don't really have a strong understanding of the historical context of what they're talking about. They may be good musicians, but mostly they are involved in their little world. They seem astonishingly dispassionate about their connection with the hardcore continuum, and prior to that house, hiphop, all the way back to James Brown. Imagine if they heard Yellow Magic Orchestra? That would blow their minds, lol...

  • "5 or 6 years ago we pretty much did know what was going on... pretty much more of the same". Sure. 2005 was more of the same for electronic music? I thought you went to FWD matey...

  • Blackdown you make me laugh? Underground but popular? Try hardcore in about 1991... more influential than anything you've got in your head...

  • Is this just an advert for certain producers who think they are more original than they are? The future is whatever you make of it, not some subset which fancies itself. I like FWD and post-dubstep music but these interconnected scenes do not include or are knowledgeable about a lot of the best new electronic music.

  • "Everything is gonna be bleeps or somethin'... it's scary when ya think about it."

    Hahaha, too true.

  • great documentary guys, really really enjoyed it.

  • Its good to go from obsessively watching old jungle documentaries to watching this

  • this needs more views

  • Nice guys. As a producer working in the garage scene I found this especially interesting ;)

  • i was wonderng could you post a list of all songs in this documentary??

  • All the records that are not from SBTRKT'S DJ set (i.e. the ones we chose for the soundtrack) can be found in the last slide of the end credits, in the order in which they appear. Those from SBTRKT's set I can't be completely sure of, but (again in order) are J Dilla - Gobstopper, Unknown, Girl Unit - I.R.L., Addison Groove - Footcrab, Ramadanman - Work Them .

  • Whats the track at 8.15???

  • @spookohoax180 Girl Unit - IRL
