@nlaramie Actually i've been listening to Guns for quite a considerable amount of time, and i can most certainly say that there are a lot of songs on chinese democracy that wipe the floor with some of the use your illusion songs..obviously i'm partial to the original line up..and if the stars aligned i would jump at the chance to see them, pushing the existing members right out of the way without a thought..thats not going to happen. a lot of people don't like it, but they're still a great band!

axl has every right to call it Guns N Roses. he acquired the rights to the name GNR legally with the proper consent of slash & duff.

bands change. GNR isnt the first band this has happened to nor will it be the last.

to say that the new guys "arent part of the band" is absurd. tommy, dizzy, chris have been in GNR longer than the original members. check out the liner notes for Chinese Democracy. only 1 out of 14 songs is written by axl alone. 13 songs are co-written with other members.

every band has a power structure. it would be naive to not understand this. Velvet Revolver, slash/duff's band had a very important line-up change when slash fired the lead singer.

axl has been calling the shots in GNR from a long time. Use Your Illusions are widely recognized as being very much axl's albums. not every member in a band has equal leadership ability.

by the way, NOT A SINGLE MEMBER of the new GNR has been fired by axl. so whose sacking are you referring to?

Look, I am in Iowa and I have bought tickets the last two times GNR has come here. I don't give a shit what he sings as long as he is there doing his thing.
