Do you have the clip of the post race interviews where Gordon is crying about how hard Johnson raced him for the win? Its called racing for a reason dumbass #24. How could he possibly think that Johnson would just move over and let him pass. I thought when Gordon got out of his car he was going to cry. If that was anyone other than a Hendrick car, Gordon woulda moved him outta the way faster than you could imagine but Johnson knew this and blocked Gordon to the finish. I would be pretty upset that my (slower) teammate beat me because some guys on the radio are telling you not to wreck him.

With all the sponsorship dollars involved, I know Hendrick was all over the radio trying to tell Jeff not to wreck him. Right 10pts is a big deal.....right before the chase/championship. 10pts aint much in the spring Martinsville race, theres still 20 races or so before the chase even begins. A big point hit would be if Gordon wrecked him and JJ ends up in 25th instead of 1st/2nd

@slotten68, it is possible to race someone hard without wrecking them, johnson did it in this clip, Gordon doesn't know how to do it, just ask Matt Kenseth after today's race, he didn't wreck him but he took a typical Gordon cheap shot becausehe couldn't keep up, points matter all the time during the season, the 48 and 24 finished 1st and 2nd but Gordon still whined, he actually thought that johnson was going to move aside and let him pass, what kid of driver just lets someone pass for 1st place

actually with the new cars the bumpers line up just perfectly so the bump and run move isnt much effective. gordon figured that out. thast why you have to get on the left rear quarter panel now to do that. so gordon couldve if he did that. but johnson raced better and so he won. and bout spoiling jimmie thats bull. him and gordon have the same setups just change them to fit their style. nothing is different besides the handling. get over it. stop trying to dishonor his ability as a driver

Jimmie Johnson is a great driver, but let's face facts: He'd be nothing without Jeff Gordon, because Jeff owns his car, plus persuaded Rick Hendrick to hire him, and that he'd be able to win races/championships. Jeff's done so much for Jimmie, and Jeff's a big part of where Jimmie is, today. Jeff's still better, in my opinion.
