no,choa ANOU he was lao HERO he try to our land back from SIAM.he lost because of e yamo.we lost our land when the LAO kingdom become three seperated kingdom,thats why we got three elephant head flag from FRANCE.

Ying Moe was just an ordinary person, not any hero as Siam made her to be. During the time king Anou was no where close to Khorat. Prince Ratsavong arrived at Khorat in the morning and left at night because there were nothing going on in the city. Later ying Moe made up a story and sent it to Rama the III for credit of poisoning Lao soldiers with mess quantities of alcohols. LOL
