This was on TV late last night (on the Schlocky Horror Picture Show!!) and I thought it was enjoyably bad!! Definitely worth a second viewing for the laughs... and to watch Mariska Hargitay's dad ham it up XD

This is a great, campy film. Starts a little slow, but really picks up later. I was laughin my ass off at quite a few of the scenes. The spider trap was hilarious; as was the fingernail clippers trick to escape the deadly spikes. And yeah, Mickey Hargitay just went over the top in this. I think he was enjoying himself as the Crimson Executioner waaay too much. LOL

Any horror movie that titles itself "Bloody Pit of Horror" deserves a viewing- straight to the point, that. Although if they're going to be that forthright in description they might as well have gone with "Naked Models in the Bloody Pit of Horror".

Also, as a point of interest, the writings on which this movie was based were by Marquis de Sade, from whose name was coined the word "sadism".

No problem. The quality isn't great but you should have seen what it looked like originally! Blacks looked like mid-grey and the colours looked all very monochrome. I tweaked the colour and contrast levels in Sony Vegas so it looks a little better now.
