  • NYC the greatest city

  • Very good video !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • new years is soon!

  • @NewYorkSlumLord HUH!?.

  • Wonderful! Its as if the cliffs were built purposefully for this awesome view.

  • Kuwait's right! Beautiful:) * God save America

  • I was borne here in NY and kidnaped in USSR. Very contrastful city where live holies and devils

  • I miss the Twin Towers... :C But they're finishing the new 1 WTC in early 2013. :D

  • Очень интересно посмотреть. Бох.

  • @ArchangelMichaelGod Благодарю. Слушай, товарищ, а можешь сделать подобную панораму НН? У вас там сейчас тойе много городского развития, насколшко я слышал.

  • @tokyocheesesteak Very good idea about NN video. My mother lives in NY, if you will see Our Lady say her about My sight in YouTube and RuTube. Thank you. Lord God sinless.

  • I live up high in the penthouse of the Silver Towers! You can see my condo complex at 0:21 (those twin towers)!

  • I lived in Chicago. It is not a small NYC. There is only one NYC...it is a class by itself. I grew up in North Jersey but my family moved to MD when I was 14 years of age. I never felt at home in MD...but I did in chicago, on the Northside near Wrigley Field. Chicago a lot slower than NYC but has beautiful Summer weather.

  • @bdoon51 Every city is beautiful in their own way, from the greats like the NYC and Chicago to the smallest hamlet out in the Midwest. Each provides a unique experience unlike any other. As for the occasional city vs city banter that I see in the comments... Keep em coming, guys. Thanks for a good laugh.

  • @tokyocheesesteak

Obviously you have not been to Newark NJ, Indianapolis, Indiana or Charleston,West VA. The only cities I have been to that I would call beautiful and even that is a sretch, would be Quebec, Canada and San Francisco , CA. To me, the Adirondacks, Hatteras Island, the Sierra Nevea Mountains are beautiful. There is little made by Man with profit or industry in mind, that I think is beautiful. I will take the Everglades or Florida Keys over Disney World , Yosemite over Hollywood.

  • @bdoon51 I, for one, appreciate manmade beauty, even accidental (such as haunting, derelict ruins). TO me, that can be as beautiful as a natural landscape, in its own way. But to each his own.

  • @tokyocheesesteak I agree with you. Rome in Autumn with the pinkish yellowish city basking. Oxford in summer witht e Dreaming Spires. adn so many many more. Beautiful urban manmade experiences.

  • Great.

This is the only overview picture of Manhattan on You-Tube.

  • Cant wait for NY to have the new buildings, NY capital of the world

  • VERY NICE, THUMBS UP!!!!!

  • this is where i wanna live

  • 0:40 wanna be the twin towers :(

  • Well if you ask anyone what the greatest city in the world is, they are obviously going to say their own city. But when New Yorkers say it, it starts problems. Why?

  • @piercethruheartz Cause new york is not the best city in the world?

  • Best city ever!

  • Wow how ugly...Urban sprawling boxy concrete mess

  • @will101page Not true :(

  • @will101page You are insane.

  • @UndercoverCracker I am not insane, I lived in NYC for a year, got bored of the skyline quickly, realised that it is a trash ridden hell hole and then moved to London, which is by far the best city in the world. I have been to all the daddy cities...NYC, London, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Dubai, Paris, Tokyo to name a few...And London, is the best of them all, the most beautiful (except paris) The most impressive, and the best. My view is not biases, as i am just as american as i am british!

  • @will101page London is very crime ridden too you cunt. I did love Paris though.

  • @UndercoverCracker There is crime in London, but it is no where near as bad as NYC, 119 Murders in London last year compared to 630 in NYC <<<<<Huge difference and NYCs population is only about 10% higher than Londons. Londons murder rate is also 1.0 per 100 000 people, while NYC is 6.2 per 100 000 people

  • @will101page That maybe true but you can have way more fun and do much more in NYC.

  • @UndercoverCracker As I said, I have lived in both cities, and your comment is not true at all. There is much more things to do and see in London, The nightlife in London is better (EU nightlife is better than american nightlife) And if your wealthy, there is so much more to do in London. London really is a city for the rich, if you have the money, it is the best city in the world to live in.

  • @will101page Dude I've been to Europe I have been to the clubs there and seen the night life! I'm telling you that NYC is far superior! If you are rich you can own three floors of a skyscraper in NYC right next to central park!

  • @UndercoverCracker Yes, and i have LIVED in america and LIVED the nightlife! You will just have to trust me, London is much better for the rich, much more elegance and class. Kensington is the most expensive place in the world to live, id much rather live in a 500year old luxury royal mansion with beautiful architecture than a grotty concrete skyscraper with a view of the park. When you step outside the smell and the trash hit you.

  • @will101page Now you are just sounding stupid...I guess it is a matter of different tastes.

  • @UndercoverCracker Im not really sounding stupid, its the truth. Financially - London is superior, Luxury property market - London is superior (thats why London is better from rich people, worlds leading luxury property and hotel destination) Shopping - London is superior (5th ave does not come close to the regent street experience and level of class) Also, a large proportion of living conditions outside manhattan are dire, Londons worst area is nothing compared to south bronx. London is better

  • @will101page I meant you sound stupid because you said you smell trash when you walk outside...NYC has some of the best hotels in the world!

  • @UndercoverCracker You will just have to trust me and the statistics. More people left NYC last year than the whole of ENGLAND! Seriously, I have absolutely NO reason to lie about London being better than NYC. I am just telling the truth. My opinion is not biased at all, I have lived in both cities, and I am just as American as i am British. If I really wanted to, I could move to NYC again tomorrow, but im not going to as London is better. NYC is great to visit, but to live in, Londons better.

  • @will101page England is tiny anyways....You can visit so many awesome cities in the US and still be in one country! Plus it always rains in England....

  • @UndercoverCracker You see, now I have lost all respect that I had for you. You appeared to be a well educated, intelligent person, but your comment has proven that hypothesis wrong. Firstly, There is actually more average rainfall in NYC than in London per year. 2) 'England is tiny" That is the most uneducated comment i have ever read. The size of the country means nothing. England makes up for its small size with its incredible history and Culture.

  • @UndercoverCracker There is far more to see in England than the USA will ever have! From my experiences, I have travelled to many US cities, and NYC is the only great one! Chicago is a cheap rip off NYC, the only other US city i Like is San Francisco, All the rest are horrible! You do realise that Paris is a 2 hour train ride from London...In London, you have the whole of Europe on your doorstep! EU cities like paris are much better than other US cities like Chicago! In fact, Paris rivals NYC.

  • @UndercoverCracker Plus, With the US's absolutely dire rail infrastructure, It takes about 20 weeks to get from NYC to chicago. While Britain is connected with france and the rest of europe with a high speed 200mph+ rail line going between england and france underwater in a tunnel. I reiterate my point, Europe is much more beautiful and interesting than the US, and Paris slaughters any US city bar NYC. I could literally walk down to the station now and be in Paris in less than 2 hours.

  • @will101page LOL The US is extremely gorgeous have you seen Yellowstone?! The US has everything.

  • @UndercoverCracker I agree, The US is extremely beautiful, But thats the scenary, yes i have been to yelwstone, rockies, etc But US cities are not beautiful at all. NYC is the only good one, and san francisco because of how relaxed it is. But the EU also has incredible scenery, like the alps, which are on the same level as the rockies. But EU cities are all incredibly beautiful, architecture, food, history, plus you can travel to different countries. My problem with americans is they dont travel

  • @will101page I do...Also the US has the best food of any country because we have so many different people here.

  • @UndercoverCracker Listen mate, you are in your own little fantasy world! American food is awful, the quality of the food is shit and it is all junk, im not being stereotypical but why do you think there are so many overweight people?

  • @will101page You must be the insane one buddy. I have eaten in Europe and the food was not up to par. There are so many fat people because they enjoy food and we have plenty of it here. lol!

  • @will101page Part 1: Alright, you cannot really compare EU to the USA. Europe has a history that goes back thousands of years. The US, just a couple hundred. So, obviously Europe has more history. 2nd, Americans don't travel to Europe that much because its so far, and expensive. And that comment about 20 weeks from NYC to Chicago is stupid. We may not have a fantastic rail network (even though we have the most rail kilometers in the world), but most people travel by plane.

  • @will101page Part 2: You can get anywhere in a few hours by taking a plane. 3rd: Boston, Miami, Philadelphia, and DC are other cities that are quite nice and have a great amount of culture. DC is definitely beautiful. Chicago is like the birthplace of the skyscraper, so its not a rip off of NYC. Paris is like a living museum, which is fine, cuz its gorgeous, but doesnt compare to NYC or London in importance. I love London since it embraces its past, yet it is also moving forward, becoming modern

  • @will101page Part 3: 4th, food that is considered to be "American" is usually junky...burgers, hot dogs, etc. However, there are sooo many people that have moved here from around the world bringing their culture here...and their food. Just in my small town we have family owned and operated restaurants for about every nationality in the world. The people that work there are from those countries, so the food is not "American-ified". So, there are tons of options for excellent food here.

  • @will101page Part 4: Americans don't eat junky fast food everyday..just so you know. What make the US different is that everyone here can trace their ancestry to another part of the world. Me...France, Germany, and Spain. Its a big melting pot. I would love to travel to Europe one day, there is so much to see!! I will eventually. So, lets stop this silly bickering about whats better. The whole world is a beautiful place! Its good that there is variety!! You dont want every place to be the same.

  • NY may HAVE the great city... but NJ has the best views of it!

  • i would probably appreciate this video so much more if i hadn't gone to Hong Kong this year and seen the symphony of lights. New York's skyline is really something, but what I saw just blows it out of the water.. nice vid btw

  • @TheHEADonWHEELS Haha yup! If you look to your right you can see the buildings in Lower Manhattan, and if you look to your left you can see Philadelphia. Definitely something to check out:) I really wanna go to London

  • I love skylines. I live near toronto and they have a great skyline. but holy shit manhattan is second to none. and it has the old european style to the building. A+ quality new york!!! love it

  • i wish the twin towers where still there

  • Plus the view from the East river makes it look like we have a 2nd skyline. U can't see the bloomberg tower or Trump World Tower from NJ I believe :)

  • @TheHEADonWHEELS No Paris has some very tall buildings

  • how many miles cant he new york skyline be seen from?

  • @WhalesRBoss Well I've seen the tall buildings such as the Chrysler, and Empire from the top of Kingda Ka at Six Flags Great Adventure which is roughly 71 miles away. The skyline can easily be seen because it's so flat down there (in Jackson) and even easier at night

  • @JerseyShore117 WHOA SERIOUSLY?! and it was really distinguishable/?? dannng....

  • @JerseyShore117 WHOA could you tell it was the ny skyline????/THATS COOL

  • @WhalesRBoss Yeah! You could see Lower Manhattan and the WTC

  • @walesrboss I live in Stamford and u can c the skyline and the throggs neck bridge and Whitestone bridges clear from beaches and some apartments. It's like 25 miles away, and at night u can even see the glow from the city

  • would love to live there but i dont have a spare million dollars on me to buy an apartment.. So expensive! and i dont see the point in living in New York unless your living in the city.

  • New Jersey huh? Is it a pretty short trip across the states? Amazing view...I actually like the older architecture of American metropolis haha.

  • Fuck those terrorists. I surely know Osama is burning in hell. Laden changed the NY skyline forever.

  • how far can the ny skyline be seen?

  • I WANNA LIVE IN USA NY

  • i love the size and massiveness of N.Y but man alot of that looks rather old and ugly, but in a kinda good gritty way.

  • man NY needs some new god damn buildings

  • @TheWorld7667 HEY!. MY CITY GOT PLENTY OF NEW GOD DAMN BUILDINGS!. WHAT ARE YOU FUCKING TALKING ABOUT HERE!?.

  • its the most awesome city in the world, home of the scyscrapers and one of the souls of america. and only New york city has more population then my whole country combined.

    /frome sweden whit love ;)

  • @tysswe1 HELL YEAH!. MUCH BETTER THAN CHICAGO!.

  • I find it a bit sad too not see 2 towers there but, it went light to dark from when you was going more west and that was where the towers were, right?

  • very nice panoramic shot

  • without the twin towers new york sucks

now paris is the NUMBER 1 city in the world

  • @Ulansananelan well thats funny koz only nyc and london are alpha ++ while paris is alpha +. dont believe me? google it.

  • @TheArthurAndersen

    WTF you talking about?!

  • @Ulansananelan He's telling you that Paris isn't number 1. New York and London rank higher.

  • @cesarisaias95 This whole "best city in the world" talk is nonsense. There is no way to objectively measure top tier cities in terms of their true importance, even with the whole alpha/beta/gamma system, which only gives an estimate. As for which city is actually "best", some of my favorite cities in the world are quite small. To each his own, and each city offers something unique.

  • @tokyocheesesteak Yeah you're right, but I was just trying to explain what TheArthurAndersen was trying to tell him.

  • @cesarisaias95 Yeah I agree, you were on point, I was watching this city vs city debate with detached entertainment for a while until I decided to step in and leave my two cents as a response to whoever was the last to make a post

  • Yes, i know. I`ve never seen NY myself other than what you see in movies, films, posters etc but i keep track by watching "freedom tower updates" on You Tube.

But the way you panorate, it just goes on and on, i never seen NY like that, quite impressive city i`ll say!

  • Wow, NY truly is HUGE...

  • @dubidubidubdubdub Wait for five years and see what it looks like then. The World Trade Center will be back with three buildings of roughly the same or greater size as the Empire State Building, and even the fourth will be a good deal taller than anything that currently stands in Downtown, and that's just one of the major projects that's currently under construction, not even counting the numerous ones that are on the drawing boards.

  • @tokyocheesesteak like d large number of scyscrapers beside ESB at d river? ;)

  • @dubidubidubdubdub Have u ever been there i was born in Ny

  • I worked on the construction of the Time Warner building.

  • Comment removed

  • I Am From The Netherlands! i am going to new york!! i love america i cant wait to go up the empire state building to watch the view.!!

  • @MyNevermindme likewise, I'd love to go to the Netherlands one day

  • It would be cool to see Twin Freedom Towers... I think that just one building doesn't fit in lower Manhattan.

  • @Luke94NY It'll grow on people in due time. Ironically, back in the 70's thousands of New Yorkers opposed the Twin Towers because they claimed that they did not fit on the skyline

  • @tokyocheesesteak Yeah, probably...

  • i thought chicago had a skyline, they have nothing on new york

  • @40coopdog im from chicago I have to agree lol, we just have one big tower :(

  • @40coopdog actually the oly thing Chicago dont have on NYC is hurricans. ha ha ha! NYC SUCKS! CHICAGO BABY!!!

  • @26Deacon Why do you guys have to argue about which city is better?

  • @fanofzimmertwins well you kinow the CHI & NY are always keeping each other on each others toes. its a rivalry that started back in the 1900s. new yorkers feel threatened by Chicago cause we're simply a better city than NYC. Chicago is similar to NYC as far as 24hr public transit, skyscrapers, diversity, nightlife, etc. but Chicago is better than NYC when it comes cleanliness, low cost of living, spacious apartments, restaurants, accessible lakefront or waterfront, etc. CHICAGO BABY!!!

  • @40coopdog NYC's skyling is garbage just like the city itself. Chicago has the worlds greatest skyline. CHI-TOWN STAND UP!!!

  • I'm going tomorrow and I am not looking forward to the one-way streets.

  • Two towers are missing :(

  • @Swampertchamp yes two are missing, but when the new world trade center is complete it will make up for some of that missing skyline.

  • @Swampertchamp YEAH, BUT, NEW YORK CITY IS GOING TO HAVE 4 NEW GIGANTIC BUILDINGS, THOUGH!.

  • looks kinda old

  • @DragonLord7667 well, June 2010, no older or newer than that, so it's pretty much half a year old

  • Comment removed

  • beautiful in all, but somethings missing

  • i love new york been there loads of times

  • i will go there

  • The Empire State Building is so romantic.

  • both wtcs needa be back fu** the freedom tower...

  • I look forward to seeing 1WTC in the near future skyline :)

  • @AdamRiewer i do to

  • Its amazing, but it isn't the same withouut the world trade centres... beautiful though! :D

  • @TurnItOff97 yeah i know what you meann if i thought at new york i thought at the wtc's but hey....americas own fault...FUCK THE LEGAL SYSTEM!!

  • @arschgesicht6246 oh idk, i think it was just a huge tragic loss to america :/

  • beautiful city

  • very nice panorama. thanks
