Oh yeah! He's got some David Gilmour influence in the beginning there around 2:35. I believe what Paul is playing is based off of that (I might be wrong) Dorian lick at about 2:17 from the studio version of Comfortably Numb. Kudos to both of them because they're both AWESOME solos/songs.

i love this guy simply because he keeps his solos tacked to simple techniques (although he makes it hard because he shreds them at the speed of light =(...) like arpeggios and scales. Plus, the other hard part is the alternating string and pick for the verse. I CAN'T SWITCH PICKING DIRECTION THAT FAST >_<

@BlackHawkGaming just prac it at a slow speed i culdnt play it 4 months before and after prac for 2 mnths gained perfetion i practised for this song played some easy riffin like laid to rest and in your face and then grabbed dis one i satrted playin in 40 bpm and raised to 80s just then the sync was easy so keep prac and dont give up caus this one is a mind blowin one and wd help a lot in improving all of ur guitar skill from leagto to pickin and riffin
