I do believe there are aliens somewhere in the universe. They may be more primitive/advanced than us but they have not visited earth. We could never be sure whether aliens visited us or not because like you said we don't have proof but how would have ancient people described such abnormal phenonmenon other then by drawing pictures or mystifying it through oral tradtion? Do you know how much time the Ancients had? They took years and years and years to figure out positionings and locations and how to build the rocks and statues. They didnt need to be taught how to know where the sun was. They were fairly knowledgeable of it. They had nothing else to do but study it so it's common sense to think they would build something to show their achievements. I dont deny the possibility but I am extremely skeptical.
