Some dudes just have penis envy. Definitely not like foot fetishism, where you could *maybe* mention that to a crowded room full of your parents and family and not feel fully ashamed. But if you mention it to your friends "yeah when I jerk it to porn I just NEED to focus in on those dick shots" then you should probably ask yourself "do I have penis envy?"
there is a correlation between abuse and homosexuality. it doesn't mean one causes the other, it just means that if you are sexually abused when you are younger odds are you will have trouble figuring out your own sexuality. trauma like that cause the chemistry of the brain to become imbalanced.
That makes it OK to ask an abuse victim if it's affected their sexuality. It doesn't make it OK to assume that someone who is attracted to transsexuals (which is more bi than gay anyway) had to be abused in order to be so.
One could argue it is. Right or wrong, being attracted to a transsexual is a social taboo a very strong one at that. It's perfectly reasonable to suspect that something affected the chemistry of the brain which would trigger someone to pursue something the vast majority of the population is uncomfortable with.
I think that correlation is misleading. Being sexually abused may simply alter the natural course of a person's sexual development, and since most kids naturally become straight, they can only be turned gay as a result of sexual abuse. Conversely, the number of gay kids who "turn straight" because of sexual abuse would be much, much smaller, because the number of gay people is so small to begin with. Not because sexual abuse and homosexuality are inherently linked.
Even if being gay was solely caused by sexual abuse, it's irrelevant. It doesn't make being gay immoral (because it hurts no one). Plus, we abuse gay people all over again by not allowing them to be who they are (assuming they were abused to begin with).
I know this doesn't necessarily contradict anything you said, I'm just thinking out loud. :)
these guys give really bad advise sometimes.. theres nothing wrong with either gay people or transsexuals..

So one has to have been abused or addicted to drugs to find transsexuals attractive?
What a compassionate point of view.
Wonder how you feel about the TS women themselves. Maybe they only DESERVE abuse victims and addicts. Who knows, right?
