Eiko Shimamiya actually participated in most Higurashi shows. I really dont know abut the games because I never played them. I had Wheel Of Fortune (運命の輪） downloaded onto my PC, converted it on a disc so I can listen while going to school. It made me cry after seeing the first live action movie. She actually made people catch onto her music using the anime. With the anime song playing all the time upon opening, it makes you like it and everything :) We all love Eiko.

@tonyqhub5 Eiko Shimamiya did all the songs for Higurashi, except for Higurashi season 1 ending.

While almost all of Umineko's song is sang by Akiko Shikata. So this is a song for Higurashi.

Also, the theme for Higurashi Matsuri (I think it's Matsuri, anyway) was done by a different artist

@vijinxed it's the second live action Higurashi's opening. It hasn't yet been subbed that I know of... If it is dubbed this early on it's crappy fansubs from people who really don't know what they're doing.
