Georgia was struggling to score initially. However, from the second quarter they scored 5 touchdowns to WVU's 2 touchdowns and a field goal. Playing it safe is one thing, but when a team only wins by 3 points its only by the grace of the clock.

You would had noticed that Georgia was struggling to score also. Teams often play this safe style of football after establishing a big lead on a team. It's a sure way to win a football game.
There is little question in my mind you are good, but put against a "real team" or a top tier team I doubt they would come close. Look I its great that WVU won the Sugar Bowl, but be honest WVU biggest offensive weapon was the clock-any longer and it would have been much different.
