  • OMG @ 0:42...That computer screen looks like it's taking up all the city's power! It's so freakin huugge

  • Did you ever notice that managers and supervisors and bosses faces look a certain way? This includes "professional people". If you work in a warehouse or fast food doing the labor you will have a certain type of face. The labor force face looks rough, no lawyer hair, nowhere close to being a TV personality aka Pretty Boy. Do you know any redneck managers?

There is one and only one reason why HR managers are "embracing diversity" in America today.

It is because their bosses make a lot of money by flying in foreign temporary workers to substitute American labor, and their jobs would be easier if American employees did not feel so rubbed about it.

I'm talking about engineers, not landscape employees.

The H-1B visa program is proof of how far the government will go to ruin an undeserving group of citizens in exchange for money.

  • @corwin8586

you sir, are a bigot. do you know how much trouble companies have to go through to make H-1B hires? how many legal and financial hurdles they need to pass through in order to fire a foreign citizens? There are a lot of large corporations out there who expressly state that unless a job applicant has work authorization, they will not be considered.

  • @cake74

I don't stand against tolerance, but I won't refrain from taking HR Kool-Aid and unbullshitting it for people.

A big problem with H-1B is that it is NOT a path to US citizenship. As the visas expire, the workers leave and take the industries with them. H-1B is pro-shareholder and anti-public. It has a very negative disparate impact on American engineers.

To know more about this, listen to Lou Dobbs on Youtube.

  • Human Resources is a great industry for people who want to help people and serve them but don't want to go into medicine or teaching. HR keeps companies well stocked with good employees and good employees happy in their jobs.

  • HR is a GREAT place to go if you're not really bright enough/motivated enough to pursue a business degree, but want to wield more power than you're qualified for. This is similar to a dullard, fat, small-town cop who got picked on for being chubby in high school but now has the power to make other people's lives unpleasant. Companies that allow HR people ot rise into top management have a HORRIBLE long-term track record and their stock can be shorted with predictably profitable results.

  • Im considering returning to grad school, Masters in Human Resources. My undergrad background is from Health and Human Services, with a bachelors in Criminal Justice with double infancies in Investigations and Corrections. How would I transition into HR?

  • as a hr official for big time world class lasalle st and fortune 500 firms my philosophy was IF YOU DONT LIKE IT HERE GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE....but company power holders are more PUSSY FIED AND PC and they make the law....hr carries it out.....

  • Human Resourse behavrial studies are based on serial bulliesm. That means if you're a good person they'll turn you into a disfunctional person so they have better control over you.

  • You must have gotten really screwed over by HR because every where I go I see negative comments by you.

  • to my experiences HR managers are assholes , most of them!

  • there are alot of dumpy, miserable guys that are married with children in the personnel, labor relations ir,hr biz,,,,SO IF YOU ARE A SWINGING batchelor out bar hopping, sport fucking the cable bunnies, chances are hr is not going to give you a home, remember MISERY LOVES COMPANY.

  • Thanks for this vid! Im a HRM major, and this vid. really describe the job well. I see from the comments its not a very loved career choice though... Kind of like being a lawyer but in the business world.. Kind of funny though :P

  • Human Resources and Recruiting is a pathetic profession (not really a profession) which does not accomplish anything, and has nothing to the world except for bigotry.

  • OOPS! Typo!

Human Resources and Recruiting is a pathetic profession (not really a profession) which does not accomplish anything, and GIVES nothing to the world except for bigotry.

  • Human Resource Managers recruit promising individual who will benefit the company. :)

  • HEY YUPPIE CHUMPS FOOLS AND PUSSIES, want that big fat job with all the goodies,,,,,,,GRACEFULLY OFFER TO KICK BACK SERIOUS BUX TO THE DECIDER OR PERSON THAT COUNTS ON PAYROLL DAY. if you are a good lookin babe,,,,,,,you know what to do.

  • some people have no idea really firstly the idea was not introduced by americans it started really from the post war years as if you like welfare based!it and personell management are very similar the only real difference would be (HR)is both strategic and proactive ,as(PM)is more traditional and routine making it reactive,we dont make the major decisions it come from higher authority i admit the WORKFORCE dont always get the best deal ideally, they get the best deal that is possible presently!

  • HR people have 4 strategic competencies: talking behind people's backs, arranging to pay people as little as possible, getting people to work as hard as possible, and (despite previous 3) keeping people in the organistion. That is actually what they do.

  • Human resource managers are a bunch of useless cunts. Another imported shite American idea that's done fuck all for the work place except fill it with yet more shiney arsed pen pushers who should get a real fucking job....wankers

  • WHAT HR type wouldn't vote for union PROTECTION OF THEIR OWN WORTHLESS JOBS (IF THEY COULD} AND CAREERS IN A FUCKIN NY SECOND,,,,AS A FORMER FORTUNE 500 CORPORATE IR OFFICIAL AND CERTIFIED UNION BUSTER AND NOW MILITANT POPULIST FOR THE PEOPLE, I AND MY SENIOR GRADE CORPORATE LAWYERS MUSED WHY WE WON! the death of a healthy union labor relations movement is your own bell tolling,,chumps or learn mandarin?

  • Its partially due to the Free Traitors we have in this country...no, I did not spell "traitors" wrong.

  • seneca u ignorant fool shut ur mouth

  • do you know if a person working on human resources can make decision such as cuting the salary of an employe? i have a friend who when to complain about her salary and now she will be getting payed less becuase according to them her job should not pay her that amount

  • Those decisions do not get made by HR managers. CEO's, or owners make those decisions, which are then sent through HR.

  • thanks alot, i will tell that to my friend

  • Human resource managers are first and foremost female. The trend is to hire an attractive, or semi-attractive idiot bitch, who is fresh out of college. The ultimate purpose of the human resource manager is to help the real management staff get away with whatever bullshit the wish by discouraging potential lawsuits. Skills required include: high heels, hair and makeup, making huge binders filled with idiotic text written with 72 point size fonts.

  • OMG i agree, fucking bitches! or hire the must of the BITCHING, someone bitter and with no sense of humor...

by the way do you know if a person working on human resources can make decision such as cuting the salary of an employe? i have a friend who when to complain about her salary and now she will be getting payed less becuase according to them her job should not pay her that amount

  • you have no clue what you're talking about...
