  • I like the bridge , but she sings very much before time in general. Love you though Amy!

  • thanks Amy

  • overrated cover rippoff

  • R.I.P AMY

  • One of a kind. Rest In Peace Amy.

  • Rest in peace, Frankenfurter!

  • wow she was a great singer and i find it sad that some of you only look up her videos to talk shit about her. I mean some of you are being just plain disrespectful for no reason. oh and just for fact, according to the autopsy she died of accidental alcohol poisioning, not an overdose on "dope". So if you're going to troll, atleast know what you're talking about.

  • I'm so sorry, Amy Winehouse...I didn't understand you better in life...(a lot of us are, am sure)...you, and John Lennon share that distinction...love you, to, baby...

    Thanks for the vid....

  • I LOVE IT!!!

  • She was the real thing. I did not focus on her, until she died. She had a lot of talent, seemed like a good person too.

  • @Dancinglikejagger OMG, I wrote my comment, then I saw yours...you so rad...cheers...

  • I am afraid that I just cannot warm to her music or voice, to me she sounds like she has just woken up. I suppose it is all just a matter of personal choice.

  • @314194 this is jazz man

  • she sounds like she has post nasal congestion!!! probably singing through a bottle...what an overrated bimbo.

  • @ERIMATT do you like choirs

  • A junkie whore with tattoos.

What a stunner that she croaked from dope overdose. What a whore.

  • @BigLongJohnny007 u r an arsehole

  • Superb version of a song that I thought couldn't be done better!

  • I never knew she did this song. Considering her life and how it ended, it's haunting and in its dark beauty.

Thanks for posting it. At least she's in a better place now.

  • her chilling end put and end to her music. drugs really are no good!!!!!!!

  • This song is actually REALLY GOOD!

  • I love your music no matter what Amy. I've stopped using and we all know you didn't. I wish you would've cleaned up but I know it's hard. It's too bad a world lost a truly talented person imo. RIP Amy. Your songs still make me feel.

  • Amy's music is uncompromising. It shoves a fist down your throat, pulls your heart from out of your chest and feeds it back to you in little pieces.

  • My girlfriend Lori just loved her....shes not here anymore....she turned me on to this awesome jazz-blues singer........awe Amy....so beautiful......well maybe she sittin sitting in Amy"s audioance.....i hope she is....

  • Junkies nearly always die whether they can sing or not.

  • @puterzhome live fast, die young, leave a beatiful corpse. the motto of the junky

  • I loved the way she did this..different but I do like it very much...what a voice, this lady can sure sing the blues.....so sad that she is gone...what a gift she had..^i^

  • pure and simple

  • this song isn't for her sorry!

  • her voice goes through you, truly remarkable. its eerie, unreal.

  • god bless her

  • the star that burns as bright, burns twice as fast.....

  • Amy, singing this song is like a amature reproduction of the painting of the Mona Lisa. People can tell it is Mona Lisa, but it is not worth the paper it is printed on.

  • Dammit Amy, why'd you go? She was a true stand-out talent. A distinctive voice is a rare thing.

  • 95 dumb people

  • She did wobble off key a little, but who cares? It just makes the song sadder.

  • You poor thing.... :-(

  • Way to ruin a perfectly good song.

  • God, this song, her voice...is riveting. It moves through my being like warm breath.

  • SUBLIME

  • RIP Amy, may your next life bring you the peace you didn't find in this one.

  • quelle perte pour la musique ;;;;la vraie ;;;;pas les merdes actuelles rip amy

  • so sad to say goodbye...such a waste......xxx

  • Heartbreaking. A lesson to all on the loss from self-indulgence. So many lost from that lost highway. To wish her peace doesn't make us miss those talents any less.

  • @909chuck

The problem is these people always have more assholes around them helping them go in that bad direction than they have true friends trying to make them stop and in the end everyone who appreciates their art AND their real friend AND they, themselves suffer. Sycophants are real shit-bags.

  • If you don'y like this version you don't know anything about vocalisation

  • Love this song ... Amy you sing it soo well !... R.I.P beaut ! x

  • pathetic, i do not get it.

  • She should have been sued for butchering a beautiful song.

    Oh well, too late now.

  • @denizenboy Just shut up. Grown folks with taste are talking here, and your stupid, puny, worthless little opinion means absolutely nothing to anyone who matters. Go hide under a rock and continue being the fart in the wind that you obviously are.

  • @HamNCheezeNLuv

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • LOVE THIS SONG AND THE EMOTION SHE SINGS IT WITH

IT REALLY GETS TO ME AND MAKES ME SAD AMY WE LOVE YOU FOREVER AND ALWAYS YOU WERE THE BEST AND WILL NEVER BE REPLACED <3

  • Terrible song but RIP

  • I'll still love you tomorrow Amy.

  • Reminds me of Janis somehow. Not her voice. Her wild and reckless and fragile soul. Miss them both.

  • @Ellfucknuckle...I checked your profile...typical loser jealous underachiever

  • EililyInnovation...thanks for your concern but go fuck yourself....you are an easily pleased tone deaf cunt

  • Yes, I agree - I simply love her version of this song. Incredible tone, heart, and emotion.

  • Rest in piece, little one... rest in piece.

  • Hi ripshane...dont you mean "there is no way this is in tune"..you seem confused

  • I love her version of this song. Never heard her until after she died, and I'm blown away.

  • @TheDeblulu me 2 :0(

  • I never thought I would envy the deaf

  • @thesuperduperbloke don't embarrass yourself please

  • Hi hazelmay...you may get fucked...I have been in the "biz" since 1979 and have been a successful talent booker in Sydney for 20 years...perfect pitch my arse...you are a deaf cunt

  • Phil Spectors first hit, as producer. Inspired by his dads gravestone epitaph. The needle on my creep-meter is in the red zone.

  • such lovely voice ..rip

  • One ugly bitch

  • @thesuperduperbloke Sorry... I got perfect pitch. She wasn't out of tune at all and no, I'm not a teeny bopper. I'm an oldie. Been in the biz for 33 years. You.. just don't have an ear.

  • @hazelmay64 pitch whatever, booze, pitch, tone very right

  • @hazelmay64 You think highly of yourself, don't you? Not to be too critical, but this ain't CareerBuilder. No one gives a fuck about your experience, you self-righteous twat!

  • @thesuperduperbloke there is no way any of this was out of tune you mug

  • Some people can't take Yes for an answer.

  • Amy didn't change the song at all, and yet she changed it completely. She really had her own style and I loved her.

  • Miss you Amy. So sorry death found you so young, you were a beautiful talent.

  • why is there only 1 amy winehouse :(

because: god had only 6 days.

  • Amy was above an average person's being- they should have left her alone (drugs and all) and maybe she wouldn't have had that last fatal drink! The world can be very tormenting. The song is wonderful.

  • What a waste another one bite's the dust........People just dont learn dont use drugs and booze.

  • @kskk9368 Amen to that...

  • I am grateful for Janis Joplin, Billie Holliday and the female vocalists that preceded Amy and made it acceptable to get this wasted and record. I know you are thinking that is a mean thing to say, but it is not a slam. It is genuine. Who she is made it to us because of that barrier being lifted.

  • Amy you know how I feel girl. Thank you whomever posted this.

  • Comment removed

  • I'M TEARING UP LISTENING TO THIS! I'M STILL SO MAD AT HER FOR LEAVING US!

  • @fanatic709

There is nothing to be angry about, first you didn't know her personally, second, even if you did, she lacked experience to believe the danger, like anyone her age. No one could save her either. It's just a shame, but keep your anger for your own family, not idols.

  • @dalotel tempted to cuss u out, just a tad! i have a right to my feelings just as u have a right to yours. clearly i didn't know her, i don't know if she was naive, if she was self destructive & if so why... i do know that i can be angry/sad w/@ her for choosing many vices that would tear her body, soul & mental state down & lead to an untimely death. i will b upset when anyone i find truly talented makes decisions that will clearly lead them down a troubled path.

  • omg she makes my heart melt

  • PEOPLE SOMETIMES DONOT REALIZE SUPER TALENT WITCH AMY HAD' SHE JUST GOT SICK. SHE IS IN A GOOD PLACE NOW AND NOT IN PAIN. MISS HER

  • She did what she did..and I think she did a great job.BUT....she could have done a better job.

  • Amy winehouse, R.I.P.!

  • @All the idiots who felt the need to leave such nasty and hurtful messages. You seem to forget that kharma will get you every time. Please have respect for those who do like her work. Use your time much more diplomatically--if going around putting hurtful messages on YouTube is your "thing" you truly need help. Thank you for posting this video.

  • Thumbs up if you'll keep listening to the music of this wonderful lady even after years that she died.

  • Much ado about fuck all

  • how the hell can you sit there and say such horrible things about such an amazing talented woman. especially after she has passed away. you need to get a life

  • QUE LASTIMA QUE ELLA S FUE ,,TAN LINDO SU CANTO.

  • i am 63 and i just love this girl-she was so great and her choices in music were great!!! i wish she would have stayed with us-may she rest in peace and she is greatly missed!!!! thank you so much for posting!!!!!

  • @dogcat126 Same age and same sentiments. A butterfly with a unique talent who is now in a beautiful place.

  • @dogcat126 she wasn't just visiting here and decided to continue on her journey she died for alcohol abuse!

  • @dogcat126 I think with so many comments from us oldies it shows how good she was-gone to Rock and Roll Heaven to party forever

  • Skank bitch.....wow, she can sing...I luv her...

  • LOVE IT

  • Amy I never knew you personally but I miss you so much....I listen to your music all the time I find it so haunting...you had a great talent for someone so young but be assured your talents won't be forgotten there up there with the likes of Billie Holiday !!!

  • What an amazing rendition. Such a loss.

  • What a pretty voice, God bless her soul. What a shame, but what a shame for anyone famous or not dying so young. Life is hard on everyone, Ephesians 6:12.

  • I only heard of Amy when she was on the news for being stoned. I know this song and closed my eyes and i loved listening to this version. She has a great voice.

  • So beautiful>> :)

  • Whoever died and made you god to judge people so harshly.

  • @TheXt1985 I just have common sense. Something 85% of the world lacks.

  • @piss666off Common sense has nothing to do with creativity. Music is art and you don't have to be sober to create art. Besides, art isn't about who is "better" anyway. It's about expression in ALL forms. Like I said, who died and made you god?

  • @piss666off If I was being unkind I would say stupid people like you who make comments like that are not worth a reply but here I am making one - maybe that was your plan. Just crawl away and dissolve in your own body fluids you acidic twat.

  • @piss666off Have a heart! I dont really like her music but I still respect her...

Something has to be really wrong with you.

  • @piss666off

YOU WERE BREAST-FED ON UNCLE CHESTER'S COCK, WEREN'T YOU?

    HEE-HEE!

  • Rip Beautiful Beautiful Amy. No more demons for you sweetheart!!! I know it's a hard battle and many don't survive.

  • RIP Amy. Your at peace now, that's all that matters ;( xx

  • Too bad Amy.

  • anyone who listens or has listened to amy and saise she has no talent has no idea what talent is stay to you two timin fake music box synthesizing bullshit

  • disgrace to music :@

  • How beautiful....

  • PEOPLE!! stop spamming about junkies. Amy rocked, period. So shut up.

  • @StrawberryDenim Right. People should stop focusing on Amy's addictions. Unfortunatly that's the reason why she's not there anymore, she died of her exces, like Janis Joplin and many others did, but that's not the only thing that is similar between them...There's a lot of other things to remember about her,. We've lost a lot when she died.

  • There are a lot of much better versions of his song. Poor Amy, pretty pathetic.

  • someone get these Demos together and put them out!

  • i have always said god gave us the right to chose but only he has the right to judge

  • What e great song from a great performer, what a wast and how sad. Love this song and love Amy Winehouse no matter what some people have to say. Wonder why they are spilling there guts on this page??? Secretly listening to one of the great performers?

  • i dont think this is so cut and dry that blake was an asshole,i drank and drugged for many years, sometimes money ,fame stature gets in the way, he gave his best, could you date or keep up with amy winehouse, i dont think so, unless your a yes mam liar, i bet he did his best, and she did to, i care about them both, world grow the fuck up.

  • I know it's with he benefit of hindsight, but there's one seriously troubled and fragile singer here.

  • This song make me so sad,She never knew true love. Not the love she needed

  • All those who celebrate junkies are pathetic! Get a life. Live a healthy life.

  • @takehimtocourt your a sad sad lonely little man. be healthy, live long and f***off!

  • @240pAssassin .Betcha you have not seen me yet, loser! Unlike you, I do not curse. Unlike you, I am a 100% healthy, tall man, who has never taken any drugs to enhance my state of mind. Logically I do not sympathize with individuals who glorify junkies. You, take my advise: Live a healthy life and you will not regret.

  • What a voice.... Everytime I hear her singing I get sad at the loss of such a beautiful talent and person. So sad. But her music does live on.... what a voice, what emotion. Beautiful. RIP Amy.

  • To hear you is to love you Amy.

  • @MrGilbertDeroule It breaks my heart...enough said said Rest in Peace dear friend.

  • NOTHING could discredit amy winehouse. she's an amazing human being and nothing, not drugs, not alcohol, nothing could make me love her any less nor should it make anyone else love her any less. she is so talented and underrated! rip amy!

  • That sound like Chinese karaoke. Sorry.

  • thank you, that was nice

  • c'est triste et beau à la fois. Aimer à s'en détruire

  • Amy & Janis can sing the blues together now. At least they have Jimi to back em' up.

  • @UtzChips2009 Morrison can provide the lyrics!

  • Comment removed

  • She sounds hammered.

  • I know she's an icon, but I can't honestly say the singing is very impressive here. It's rather mushy and laconic.

  • i saw her dad on t.v. a w hile back giving an account of his late daughjter's lastdays. how very sad for him and his wife. they lost part of themselves when poor amy died, bless her.

but i noticed her father was not weepy-eyed. is that because he is froom the south east of england or what? i mean, this english upper stiff lip thing is PURE ENGLISH SHITE.

PLEASE PRAY FOR HIM AND HIS WIFE, THOUGH, IN THEIR LOSS. BLESS THEM.

  • She "wears me out" on this song! I love and miss you, Amy!!

  • ugh she ruined this song.

  • Amy. Oh how I miss you , but you left your gifts behind. You had a wonderful future ahead of you, but now you are watching down on us and smiling. Never forgotten dear Amy.....muah

  • @mysticstarr71 Yeah lol. she is watching down on us and smiling alright. More like it is that she is in hell burning for an eternity.

  • I think she is the off spring of a black WWII veteran,,,, War is some deep shit..

  • @JamieReneTurnerSr and what makes you think that?

  • to know know know her................i didnt ..but through her music and her voice i felt as though i did.....the most soulful and genuine vocalist i.. and you will hear..she is a legend.. sweet dreams amy xx

  • I hope the day comes when I can walk along side of him...

  • Dodo, You know what's great about Youtube, is that even idiots are aloud to an opinion!

  • RIP Amy

Yer songs will live on x

  • RIP Amy..Love you always

  • @takehimtocourt she may have been a junkie but what a talent..i take this over madonna gaga and beyonce and all those other shit american brands..She was never about brand unlike american singers.they will never touch her

  • @takehimtocourt What the hell is wrong with you? You are entitled to think whatever you want..but to post something so cold in a public forum demonstrates a real lack of character. Get a soul....or try to negotiate a buy back with whomever you sold yours to.

  • @takehimtocourt You may lose someone you love one day. Things change, and always when people least expect it. Death creeps up, illness, all manner of things are waiting to jump out and tear a lump out of the arse of people who think they are immune to the trials and tribulations of real life. Life bashes us all, one way or another. Then, and only then, do some people become human. Take care. +

  • @takehimtocourt

You don't listen to anything from the 60s or 70s? Some of the greatest musicians of all time, took drugs...Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane, Beatles, Zeppelin...the list goes on. No, you don't have to like them "because they took drugs", but, to NOT like them, because they took drugs, is just asinine. If you listen to music prior to that... Calloway smoked a lot of pot, Billie Holiday did a lot of heroin, Ray Charles, Tony Bennett, are you going to discredit them?

  • @ilovewiki it is a shame, all that talent wasted. they had so much to offer. booze and drugs have robbed us of some great talents. i don't know if it's their willingness to experiment as they do in their music that does it but i know that i miss them.

  • @denisjl100

It is a shame man, we've lost many amazing musicians...but, let's not discredit them, like some on here like to do, because of that fact. They made some poor decisions, and that's unfortunate...let's instead, enjoy wonderful music they provided us with. =)

  • @ilovewiki How can you NOT like someone who's say's something like that :D

  • @ilovewiki

Not that I disagree with your point about musicians and drugs.

But back in the 60s and 70s those drugs were very much legal.

So she's judged badly because she did drugs after it became illegal.

Breaking the law is viewed as something bad thus she'll forever have a bad image attached to her.. Its human nature.

  • @ilovewiki and everyone you listed was amazing including amy ! she had a voice that hit emotionally!

  • @Dodontdodont2 , WHO ARE YOU TO SAY LETS NOT CELEBRATE A TALENT THAT WAS SO GREAT, WE ARE NOT CELEBRATING HOW SHE DIED BUT HER MUSIC,( THINK BEFORE YOU TYPE.) SEEM TO ME YOUR THE ONE WITH A VERY SMALL MIND TO THINK WERE CELEBRATING DRUG USE...

  • @Dodontdodont2- She made some poor choices. Speaking from experience, the truest, deepest feelings you heave come out when you are at your lowest. Drugs take can you to those deepest, sometimes, darkest places. I'm not glorifying what she did nor am I glorifying how she got her inspiration. She had great talent and was able to show her true feelings and troubles through her music. She showed her true colors which is more than can be said for alot of other current artists and us "normal" people.
