@elchapoguzmancartel that's the incoming missile siren, usually it gives you 20 seconds to find cover. in Sderot and the villages around gaza you can also hear a voice saying "tzeva adom" [red alert].

also, there is a siren during memorial days (the holocaust memorial day and the fallen soldiers memorial day) for 1 or 2 minutes, but unlike an emergency alarm this alarm is constant.
