That is all false. The mother rabbits will love to have their babies back even if they have been touched by humans. They don't reproduce for no reason - their job is to care for their young until they are old enough to care for themselves, whether they have the stench of humans or not. I have a bunny, I know that she won't abandon her offspring because of that.

Ok heres the thing...

you can hold baby bunnies ONLY AND ONLY if the mother is not unfamiliar to you if she knows its you go wash your hands then stroke her then go for the bunnies but if shes not familiar with you she might get her wild instincts and eat the little bunnies and if you see this take the bunnies away from the mother straight away

btw the reason you can touch them is that there smell is stronger then yours but the mum can still smell you slightly.
