Well, at least we agree about Ron Paul... What presuppositions must Protestants be able to defend before you'll enter into meaningful dialogue with them? Our religious backgrounds are opposite to each other - I am a Protestant convert from Roman Catholicism, so I'd be interested in hearing your defense to certain Catholic dogma in light of Scripture. If interested, please PM me.
P, I was swayed by PJB's article 9/12/08 entitled "Last Chance -- For Life." Also, The Remnant Newspaper had a persuasive article on the subject. So, even though I vowed last year to vote either Ron Paul or nothin' at all this November, I'll be voting instead for the M/P ticket. Alan Keyes deserves votes too...BTW, application of MSM logic leads to the conclusion that anyone who doesn't vote Keyes is a racist!;Especially Obama supporters -- as Obama is more lightly complected than Mr. Keyes.
I just spoke with someone about that particular article by Buchanan. The problem is that this isn't the first time we've heard PJB say this. His unfortunate column in The American Conservative back in 2004 endorsing GWB was premised almost entirely on Roe. He stands on principle every 3 1/2 years, but loses it right around election time.
A Dem Congress will keep anti-Roe appointees out. Will McCain fight for them? Bush didn't, and the Dems were the minority.
Just out of curiosity, what do you have against the Constitution party? They have a solid conservative platform, and Baldwin is a decent candidate imo.
I was a delegate for them in 2004. I attended the National Conference, and spoke to Peroutka a number of times while there. I wrote against the two party system, and was relatively active in my state party. I was a campaign consultant for a man running for House of Reps in my district. I debated the Mormon goons over in the Nevada branch (AIP) over the issue of abortion. It went national. National voted, Nevada won. They oppose the abolition of abortion. CP split up. Many left, as did I.
Chuck Baldwin is a good candidate. He doesn't have the views that are crazy of the CP. And hopefully he will help permanently change the CP to get rid of these silly views (such as banning porn... doesn't make any sense... well Chuck doesn't have this platform).
I agree with banning porn. Then again, Chucky is a Baptist whose more into freedom of conscience and autonomy than the reconstruction and preservation of Christian culture.
Excellent Video my friend!!! I defently enjoyed the part about Protastants becuase right now that what I am dealing with and thats wats circulating on utube at the moment thanks to one utube user. Otherwise my brother God Bless you from a fellow Catholic :)
You stole my "Constipation Party" title! Oh well...I'm voting for Chuck Baldwin...Barr has a seedy past that I don't trust...and I hate the Libertarian Party.
Welcome back; I like what you said about Israel and Palestine. It seems it is easier for the outgoing administration to be even-handed than it will be for the candidates for the White House. By that I mean that AIPAC lose their influence over a President who is leaving office.
To understand why Palestians are doing what they are doing is to understand what is being done to them - to understand why the birthplace of Christianity is being wiped out, is to understand why the first Christians are being forced out by Israel - look at the Christian population over the years ...
If you're a Hagee, Parsley, then send money to Israel to help them wipe out where Christianity started
Awkward gulp? If you listen closely, you'll hear me putting the cap back on my Mt. Dew bottle.
As for touching my glasses, try counting how many times I touch them throughout the entire video. They are not tightened properly. They haven't been for a long time. If you look at old videos of my in the studio, you'll see me do the same.
I have no reservations about boldly condemning Protestantism. I have no fear of condemning it with the strongest language.
The RCC has become increasingly inclusivistic with its salvation message since Vatican II; opening its salvation doors to Jews and Muslims alike. Pope Benedict is even questioning whether Martin Luther was a heretic after all. It will only be a matter of time before they embrace Protestants. The direction the RCC has been increasingly taking for the past 40 years is very clear, and your answers will become increasingly more awkward.
B. Protestants may be saved if, and only if, they have been validly baptized, firmly believes Protestantism to be the true, has not committed mortal sin, and doesn't know the claims Catholicism makes pertaining to Her being the one, true Church. Realistically speaking, we are ONLY talking about baptized babies/children and those who've NEVER heard of Catholicism.
C. Give us a link on your remark pertaining to the Pope and Luther?
A. And who has declared it not binding? It was presided by 2 Popes, cardinals, bishops and three future Popes. So this was just a weekend retreat? What criteria are you using to discern which councils are binding and which aren't? I would like to know this.
C. It was written about back in March. Not sure how reliable it is. Just google: martin luther benedict
A. Pope John XXIII, who called the council to order, insisted that there would be no dogmatic statements and that it was merely pastoral. Pope Paul VI, the one who promulgated the council said that it wasn't dogmatic and didn't invoke the extraordinary charism of infallibility. The Council's General Secretary agreed. There having been no anathemas is also proof of this matter.
I wrote about this matter on my Xanga: May 21 and 24.
btw- That London Times post was denounced by the Vatican.
I have placed the link to my blog entries in this video's info box. I invite you to read and comment whenever you wish. I blog more than vlog, and there are some very interesting (and intense) conversations on my site. Most of them revolve around the Protestant-Catholic controversy as well as the general tents of neo-Catholicism.
An exclamation point would indicate that you are a loud and obnoxious sleeper. The kind everyone wishes would sleep in another room... or the kind that everyone loves to play pranks on. Warm watter anyone?
By the way, I enjoyed some of your curious statements in this video. One of my favorites is "I would LIKE TO THINK I am in full agreement with that."
I'm sure you would.
Please tell me about "valid holy orders." Use the Bible please and don't tell me about rocks.
I have a video on it. It should be in my religion playlist and it is called My Protestant Friend and Holy Orders. I deal with it in other videos, but not sure as to where. I may do yet another one on it shortly. It was the topic of intense discussion on my blog, so it may be fitting to make a video on YouTube.
My view of theonomy is more robust than that proposed by CR's. I take the entirety of Revealed Truth (Scripture, Councils, Encyclicals, Saints, etc.) as opposed to Sola Scriptura.
Presuppositionalism ONLY makes sense in the Catholic scheme of things. I have a video on this matter in my religion playlist.
hahaha Honestly, I forgot all about that. Sorry. I will make an effort, though I think it is almost a waste of time to debate doctrinal matters with those who system cannot provide the necessary preconditions for an objectively and universally binding interpretation on anything whatsoever.

You have a very unusual set of beliefs.
Is there a group of catholics that hold to theonomy? or do you just have your own set of beliefs? would the Pope approve of Theonomy?
Most Presuppositionalists come from the calvinist camp? Yet you call them friends?
I have never met a calvinst Presupper who would have anything nice to say about a Catholic? Yet you have found several that call you a friend?
I am very puzzled Paleo?
