Ok I just watched this and I have a question :/ That top part of the building clearly isnt what is causing the rest of the building to collapse. That top part was actually going to fall sideways but because the bottom part is going down with it at the same speed the top part just goes down instead of side ways. So what the fuck is actually crushing the lower undamaged rest of the building :S
@galaxything, the exo-skeleton buckled at the bottom as the weight of top half of the building leaned. The entire frame of the building was hot and weak at this point. The WTC didn't have an internal frame skeleton like older buildings which is why the Empire State building wouldnt of collapsed floor by floor. Its also why these conspiracy nut jobs think it was a set implosion without ever researching the matter with their last brain cell.
@EastCoastDude99 I just seen a picture of one of the WTC towers when it was half built. It had a main inner steel frame structure that the outer part / floors all fixed too, there was no outer exo-skeleton. Also I found a pic of the sun shining through the towers (lovely shot) and you can see there is just a thick core structure and not much else, amazing picture. @galaxything, that thick core structure are the concrete floors mixed in with elevator shafts and emergency stairwells.. The building itself was supported by an Exoskeleton steel frame. The middle of the towers were not supported by an internal steel frame from in to out in the same fashion as older buildings such as the Empire or Chrysler buildings. Once the entire skeleton heated from burning jet fuel, the building basically melted and buckled at the bottom and collapsed (tower 1).
@EastCoastDude99 Hmm from what I have read about the buildings construction and with pictures and diagrams all official construction reports (from when the actual buildings were built) all say and show a core steel structure to which all floors were fixed and supported by an outer shell, this way the offices could be 'open plan' with no pillars or supports in the way. I'll say now I am no conspiracy nut, but I am rather perplexed at how an open fire melts construction heat treated grade steel :S

After reading up it seems jet fuel is actually less volatile than regular car gasoline when not compressed in a jet engine and you need a super hot blast furnace to make molten metal not an open air fire. @MrShane737 No. Granted Afghanistan and Iraq were to make money, but they both would have happened anyway. The history shows we were going to invade Iraq first, though. We invaded Afghanistan (half heartedly) because the evidence was clear. There's no demolition crew in the world that could have made such a clean (no detonation cord scraps) demolition to exactly start where a giant fire happened as a result of an impact. If anything, the impact would have destroyed any electronics.

The simulation from purdue showed otherwise. The core was compromised by the hit. The insulation gone from most of the beams there by the ricocheting debris. Numerous experiments show what the designers already knew, if you heat a fire around those beams for a certain number of minutes, they don't hold up the design load. It is true that a significant portion of that pressure would crush some of the floors below. What it cannot do is crush ALL 70+ UNTOUCHED floors below, in symmetric fashion, in something like 15 seconds. Resistance from steel prevents this. And if you think you have a formidable rebuttal to that, this conversation is beyond over.

Amidst all the information and testimonies, it CAN be confusing. One thing i do try to avoid is eye witness testimony ( or ear ). In science (which is a system built on understanding) eye witness testimony is mostly ignored or doesn't have much merit. The core apparently was damaged enough. Firefighters assigned to that building were instructed to exit (pull) because the damage was enough to judge unsafe to be in or near. Shortly after, it collapsed from the damage. Seems how things work in reality.

This was the only steel structure that has collapsed in such a way. From what I can tell, the top half of the tower should have fallen over and left the lower half standing, or the entire tower should have fallen over, keeping the overall structure intact. The building fell as if in free fall. I'm not proposing that the U.S. gov was behind it, but there was more destruction involved than a plane.

The engineers and designers did an excellent job building the WTC. The building stayed strong for half an hour allowing 8,000 people to evacuate. When it collapse it went strait down, if it had fallen on it's side, half the city would've been wiped out. SO DO BLAME IT ON THE CONTRACTORS.

Ok I just watched this and I have a question :/ That top part of the building clearly isnt what is causing the rest of the building to collapse. That top part was actually going to fall sideways but because the bottom part is going down with it at the same speed the top part just goes down instead of side ways. So what the fuck is actually crushing the lower undamaged rest of the building :S

@galaxything, the exo-skeleton buckled at the bottom as the weight of top half of the building leaned. The entire frame of the building was hot and weak at this point. The WTC didn't have an internal frame skeleton like older buildings which is why the Empire State building wouldnt of collapsed floor by floor. Its also why these conspiracy nut jobs think it was a set implosion without ever researching the matter with their last brain cell.

@EastCoastDude99 I just seen a picture of one of the WTC towers when it was half built. It had a main inner steel frame structure that the outer part / floors all fixed too, there was no outer exo-skeleton. Also I found a pic of the sun shining through the towers (lovely shot) and you can see there is just a thick core structure and not much else, amazing picture. And thnx for responding much appreciated!

@galaxything, that thick core structure are the concrete floors mixed in with elevator shafts and emergency stairwells.. The building itself was supported by an Exoskeleton steel frame. The middle of the towers were not supported by an internal steel frame from in to out in the same fashion as older buildings such as the Empire or Chrysler buildings. Once the entire skeleton heated from burning jet fuel, the building basically melted and buckled at the bottom and collapsed (tower 1).

@EastCoastDude99 Hmm from what I have read about the buildings construction and with pictures and diagrams all official construction reports (from when the actual buildings were built) all say and show a core steel structure to which all floors were fixed and supported by an outer shell, this way the offices could be 'open plan' with no pillars or supports in the way. I'll say now I am no conspiracy nut, but I am rather perplexed at how an open fire melts construction heat treated grade steel :S

After reading up it seems jet fuel is actually less volatile than regular car gasoline when not compressed in a jet engine and you need a super hot blast furnace to make molten metal not an open air fire. Only explination is thermite like conspiracy people say :S

The Planes initial hits knocked off the fireproof coverings of the steel T beams, now i dont know how smart you guys are, but when steel gets reallreallyreally hot from a fire like that, for as long as it was on fire, the Beams began to bend and flex. you cant have 2000 tons of steel and concrete resting on a few beams that are bending and flexing. the beams gave way and gravity took care of the rest of the tower. but you all are entitled to your opinons, i cant make idiots not be idiots

@MrShane737 No. Granted Afghanistan and Iraq were to make money, but they both would have happened anyway. The history shows we were going to invade Iraq first, though. We invaded Afghanistan (half heartedly) because the evidence was clear. There's no demolition crew in the world that could have made such a clean (no detonation cord scraps) demolition to exactly start where a giant fire happened as a result of an impact. If anything, the impact would have destroyed any electronics.

@Enginmaster you think to bring down a building with explosives, you need one long cord strapped to all the other explosives? no, all you need are *separate* make-shift explosives strapped to the main cores at the base of the towers, and the main cores at the center.. remember the plane did not go through the main core of the building, it is impossible to do so since it is reinforced steel/concrete.. the WTC were also built to withstand even bigger jets, than the boeing 747..

If you're saying breaking just 1 more beam would do it, but the fire weakening of the structure wouldn't, you're insane. The simulation from purdue showed otherwise. The core was compromised by the hit. The insulation gone from most of the beams there by the ricocheting debris. Numerous experiments show what the designers already knew, if you heat a fire around those beams for a certain number of minutes, they don't hold up the design load. You seem to have a lot of positive "can't have destroyed that" knowledge, that somehow trained structural engineers don't. Why do you believe that? It's your religion.

What you are thinking, astonishingly, is that some invisible hand pushed the building away, having it fall NEXT to the bottom part. This is what you are suggesting. When something collapses, it can only go one way, with slight variations. Down straight ( an actual controlled demolition ), or down to one side, like in this video.

It is true that a significant portion of that pressure would crush some of the floors below. What it cannot do is crush ALL 70+ UNTOUCHED floors below, in symmetric fashion, in something like 15 seconds. Resistance from steel prevents this. And if you think you have a formidable rebuttal to that, this conversation is beyond over.

Youtube "buildings demolished". I highly suggest to watch AS MANY as you can. It only takes half a brain to see two mind blowing important points. 1. The top of the buildings are always intact for the most part before they hit the ground AND the buildings go down bottom first. 2. The whole point of a "controlled demolition" is to contain the destruction, keeping it from even touching the other side or the street. Now after having watched all these videos, go back to the twin towers collapsing.

@Imaginos26 That's what I noticed. It seems in the case of 9/11, the lower parts of the buildings where simply brought down by the weight of the upper stories collapsing down on top of them. This is nothing like how a 'controlled demolition' works. My only questions are why did building 7 collapse the way it did? That one did look controlled. And why did the BBC report it's collapse 20 minutes before it actually happened? At least, that's what they say.

Amidst all the information and testimonies, it CAN be confusing. One thing i do try to avoid is eye witness testimony ( or ear ). In science (which is a system built on understanding) eye witness testimony is mostly ignored or doesn't have much merit. The mind tends to jump to conclusions before it has any amount of necessary information. The more you know, from every aspect, allows you to come to the most logical conclusion. Building 7 from what I've gathered had an odd structural design -->

@BloodOfRayne (part2) that wasn't the best design to withstand damage to its structure from fire and/or debri damage ( parts of the falling wtcs hit building 7, opening its side ). The core apparently was damaged enough. Firefighters assigned to that building were instructed to exit (pull) because the damage was enough to judge unsafe to be in or near. Shortly after, it collapsed from the damage. Seems how things work in reality.

Fires burning inside of it, and a huge hole on its side, it's only normal to assume it will happen. Eventually you get to the "breaking point" where the "one more column snap/bend, and it drops" more or less situation. Its obvious that the rest of the building will follow. But why go through all that reasoning when you can just say bombs did it.

As far as I know that was the video used as proof he was involved but since then experts proved it was not him in the video. is a LIE. Nearly 1/2 of the floors ABOVE where the demolition begins
are being demolished BEFORE any floors below.

This was the only steel structure that has collapsed in such a way. From what I can tell, the top half of the tower should have fallen over and left the lower half standing, or the entire tower should have fallen over, keeping the overall structure intact. The building fell as if in free fall. I'm not proposing that the U.S. gov was behind it, but there was more destruction involved than a plane.

The engineers and designers did an excellent job building the WTC. The building stayed strong for half an hour allowing 8,000 people to evacuate. When it collapse it went strait down, if it had fallen on it's side, half the city would've been wiped out. SO DO BLAME IT ON THE CONTRACTORS.
