  • oops at 2:36

  • Cool video man. I like how at 2:37 the machinegun fires in timing with the disc scratch

  • Gundum Wing Thirty year Aniversary yeah!!!!!!! I love this song

  • This sound is sooooooooo good !

    Nice job :)

  • FREAKING COOL AMV! Good Job

  • This is cool, adding it to my web site for a two weeks... thankies, it was one of the best i have seen

  • I really.. dont know what direction this AMV was going for. At first I thought the darkness and grim nature of the show.. then I thought perhaps the intent was to glorify the first episode. It isnt as well done as Zeta Gundam one. The opinion isnt song choice or anime choice, its based more on the chosen scenes and when they're shown. "Wandering stars" does not invoke a vision of a 15 year old girl's family being cruelly murdered because of a war she had nothing to do with.

  • Maybe its because I'm tired, but some history behind this piece might help me understand it more. Also, one note of importance. Dont post up a paragraph of text for such a short period of time. Just a small note of constructive criticism there. Otherwise? Ehh.. 3 stars? I'll note vote just yet and wait for a bit of help grasping this AMV. It seems very dark, which is a plus considering the subject material of a man spiraling in to depression.

  • It's really ironic, because this vid is usually well recieved by most casual viewers. Honestly, it was my first real video, and I was still trying to hone my style. By the time, I did "Positive Contact" (my Macross/Robotech vid), common sense started to play more into the picture when I pre-planned an AMV.

Your observations are on the money, but I still have a soft spot for this vid and was foolish enough to upload it. ^_^

  • I think my video "Bernie's Lament" is more in line to the mood and atmosphere you're looking for. I don't use conventional music for it, but a knockout track from Lalo Schifrin called "Bach to the Blues". It an instrumental but it helped me display the story of 0080 better than any other song I had considered.

  • The song is about lucifer after falling to earth (fallen angel, fallen star, wandering stars) - he is contemplating the fact that he knows he is going to hell and there is nothing he can do about it. I'm pretty sure of this interpretation as the chorus was taken directly from a bible verse.

  • Wonderful song. And just think, most of the illiterates who listen to this music won't know that the "wandering stars..." line is ripped off from Jude 13: "...wandering stars for whom the nether gloom of darkness has been reserved forever."

Indeed, I'm certain that many of these illiterates are even now saying, "Jude? What's that?"

  • Just because someone doesn't memorize the Bible doesn't mean that they are illiterate...you're an ass.
