Check out my theory and the charts on god like productions sight, i spelled that wrong on purpose. look in the search area at top right corner, type in, yellowstone 12 hour. I found a 12 hour cycle. You may use my information freely. I am Nyhee on there as well as on here, but my real name is allen.
I wanted to share with you something about the volcano eq's. In January, we are closest to the sun in our orbit, not hemispherecally, but orbit wise. January 4th, this year. The swarms start or tend to be their worst in the early days of January. Also, I found that there is a link between the most intense activity, when the sun is directly over head, or just passing by, and when it is directly behind the caldera, nightside, 2-3 am and pm.
I guess you don't know how to scale things. If to the scale of the caldera at Yellowstone, the crust would have been thrust into the air about 30 km. The magma would be ejected even higher.
oh and i've been going over your theory for a while now robinUC and I have to say that it does seem to fully explain the exticintion of the dinosaurs.
also, wig-best, regarding the dinosaurs, they were wiped out as global temps crashed and plants withered from decreased sunlight. the whole eco-system crashed. and the dinosaurs could not adapt. the birds, their cousins, survived because the had feathers for insulation and could more easiler migrate and spot food from the air. also, their efficient respiration was able to filter and provide enough oxygen to endure the long decades of deprivation..
yellowstone will not shroud the earths atmopshere with ash lets say that. even the biggest super euptionss like toba and la garita didn't do that. It may shroud the whole earth's atmosphere with sulphuric acid aerosols but not ash.
dear wig-best, ash would indeed be ejected into atmosphere. Just like the finer materials that are discharged by burning coal. yes, the heavier particles would fall mainly over North America. But even minor eruptions, Pintubo, reduced global temps by relflect sunlight off fine ash into in atmosphere. increased cloud cover would produce rainfall just like chinese polluction is now causing flooding in the US midwest.
I'm not sure when you think Antartica had an eruption. The evidence is buried under the glaciers. If there is methane under the ice sheet it would be frozen and would not react with atmosphere. The hole in the ozone was caused by CFC's. Man caused the hole in the ozone.
now imagine how far into the atmosphere the magma from a hot spot volcano that is 50 miles (80km) wide would be thrown. not to mention the earthquakes it would produce.
some geologist think that yellowstone is 40 000 years overdue. if my theory is correct, the resurgent dome should peak around 2010 and this could set off the dynamic i have presented.
I know by your comments on first trails that you weren't sure what i was doing. I'm glad that you kept watching and now see what i was hoping to achieve. The experiment behaved exactly like i predicted.

Since I am a student of truth I cannot deny your observation. I have been harder on my mortal vessel than Axel Rose has been with his hotel rooms.

I'm confused is the towel Utah or Wyoming? Either way nice work, Don't forget to buy an umbrella before this whole thing blows.

I would have loved to know exactly what the experience was... what you exactly did to achieve that result... it's not very clear =/

Psst. You said that the Yucatan was a piece of crust from the eruption. You just described Verneshot. See on Exit Mundi.

definately i can imagine it, could be equivalent or greater than the pompeii incindent
Albel7 4 years ago
it would be many hundreds of times bigger. in fact if Yellowstone erupts, it will shroud the entire earth's atmosphere in ash.
UCnibor 4 years ago
=/ bugger....lets hope it doesnt happen soon
