  • My hall smells likes feces,

Now it smells like the finest pizza.

But I still need to throw my shit away.

  • not good.....chop cgop xchop chop.and don't like the background music

  • knew there was a reason I liked this guyh. He reminds me of my Grandpa when he drops the act!

  • He reminds me of Cus D'amato

  • This is wonderful! I myself have over six hours of WWF tv that no one else has. Call it "the breadbasket of the WWF." It includes George The Animal Steele, a lot of his peers and I'm holding the tv debut of Jessie "The Body" Ventura.

  • This is my uncle. I'm so lucky.

  • Wow. I am in total shock

  • lol is fake..i think he is retard totaly he is a very2 perfect and normal person...

  • Hey, doesn't he sound like an annoyed version of Booby Heenan lol?

  • get rid of the unnecessary annoying background music. i hope it's not in the real interview

  • I heard that George has a fetish of having women to eat mexican food then fart in his face and laugh at his tiny penis when he gets an erection from sniffing their farts.

  • @niteholler ur sik human n o joke

  • I saw the Andre match he talks about. Andre did all that and George kicked him in the balls like any street fighter and Andre looked hurt. Well Andre gave George the 'European uppercut' and George jumped backwards over the top rope but he went backwards head over heels-never saw any wrestler do that before;-slapped his hand into the crook of his elbow in that famous French Salute-and stormed back to the dressing room! Andre followed but Steele refused to wrestle any more as Andre sure wasn't!

  • The one thing I will always remember about George the Animal Steele was him eating the turnbuckles and throwing the stuffing in his opponents' faces.

  • I remember just being horrified watching the Animal as a kid. I was truly afraid of George "The Animal" Steele. Now as a 4o yr old man its nice to see him like this, just a fun loving guy enjoying his legacy.

  • @ nookiboi I bet you still think wrestling is real too. what a noob. i knew that since i first watched jimmy super fly snuka practice with ricky the dragon steamboat. Fail nookiboi

  • I've never heard the man speak normally until this moment. I remember seeing him on Saturday Night's Main Event (back in the late 80's, I believe). He had a "surprise" for Miss Elizabeth. During that interview, he said "surp pr pr pr prise". Because of that, I still say "surp pr pr pr prise" to this day. Memories!

  • Even if he was never "the animal" he would have done so many great promos as a talking pro wrestler. He is a very entertaining communicator, like Bobby Heenan.

  • LOL Seeing him out of character is great! That looks like a great watch.

  • @goldenagenut You should see the Warlord....very intelligent, witty, and insightful.

  • why the hell is there background music? shut that shit off so we can the interview better!

  • I've never heard that guy talk.

  • He was going to fight Mulligan? Wasn't Mulligan pretty bad ass dude? Not taking anything away from Steele here. I just recall different vids where people said he was a tough dude.

  • Nice to see he was on Old School RAW, long live the Legend.

  • Fuck u man u dont kno shit about the animal fagget dont even talk shit bout him hes probably one the best wwf wrestlers alive

  • he was a professor/football coach in michigan when he wasnt wrestling...in some years...he didnt wrestle much except 4 the summer/winter months 4 wwf/wwe...the only times he didnt do so...he prolly had extended leaves of absense(s)...

  • turn the music off so I can understand what he is saying

  • Lengend.

  • My dad played quarterback for George. Love the fact he is a born again Christian now.

    God bless!

  • George Steele was my favorite wrestler in the WWF!! Always wished they used him in better story lines.

  • wow this guy is no joke ,1 hard mofo ,,

the real oll skool wwf fn love it,,

  • HEY.......YOU!!

  • Wow very rare to see this. He talks lol!

  • YOU WERE FUN, AS A YOUTH I VISIT A MATCH YOU WALK BY AND I WAS SCARED TO DEATH WE HAD A RINGSIDE SEAT

  • Steele knows the business and from what ive gathered from insiders, the faces are assholes outside of the riing and the heels are actually good people

  • @twisteds666 i have come to realize that too. bobby is a great example.

  • He kinda sounds like Bobby Heenan, right down to the lisp. If George had platinum blonde hair and a sequin jacket, he could pass for Heenen.

  • wow! you're right!!

  • i could not hear him. whats the deal

  • @scumgod13 he's the owner of rf video, and the guy who started up ROH and ran it for a few years until he showed up on to catch a predator. he was in charge of the fan cam stuff in ECW as well.

  • This actually looks like it would be a great one.

  • what's the deal with the background music - I just want to hear the guy talk

  • William James Myers, aka, George "The Animal" Steele - was one of my favorite Wrestlers.

  • George really was very eloquent on the stick before he adopted the whole "Animal" gimmick. I've heard that his and JYD's jokes and stuff in the locker room were truly the stuff or legend!

  • I had a dream I was George "The Animal" Steele in a match. When I awoke, my pillow was gone and my mouth was full of feathers!!

  • @TheTwoegg

    Ha ha !

  • It's weird to see him out of character here. I kept watching this expecting him to suddenly leap up and start eating a turnbuckle.

  • not a big fan of his wrestling

  • What a story about the dead wrestler. Get him out there and get the pin while he's still warm. Wow!

  • Comment removed

  • lizaaaaabeth

  • I can't here a word he was saying because of the music

  • get rid of background music!!! other than that great vid!

  • Steel City? As in Sheffield?

  • Pittsburgh.

  • Georgie is an ADORABLE GRAMPA!!!

  • "bammmm....and he died"

  • I got a kick out of George when he would rip the turnbuckle padding apart, and the ring crew would have to put a whole new turnbuckle pad on the exposed steel bolt on the turnbuckle, but that WAs SO FUNNY.

  • Gees and flying monkey crakkers, George "The Animal" Steele can talk, the amazing part, shit, I thought this guy was really brought in the asylem, wow, damn, William James Myers fooled me, LOL, that is one good actor and a fantastic entertaining wrestler.

  • That was my reaction when I heard him speak for the first time in a Best of Wrestlemania DVD a few years back.

  • Steele was one of the all time greats, so underrated!

  • The music in the background was a bit loud and little distracting from good ol' George. Otherwise great video.

  • Why do I have the feeling that's still one guy I wouldn't mess with. haha. He looks in better shape now than when he was a wrestler.

  • HE WAS A GENIUS!!!! HE WAS GREAT!!!

  • damn this guy was present in almost every huge era in wrestling history. fueding with the longest reigning wwe champ ever bruno in the 60's, beating the crap out of everyone in the 70's, growing to new heights in the rock n wrestling era of the 80's, hell he even kicked ass with the oddities in the attitude era of the 90's, this guy is the definition of a legend!

  • Music is just UNBEARABLE!!! Ouch...

  • One last one...before a game one day, he comes in all happy and smiley. I'm standing by my locker, and he comes over and punches me in the arm, you know, all kidding and funny and everything. I slam into the door, and had a big ole bruise on my arm for about a week. Lol.. He's a helluva good guy. They had a school board meeting, my dad was on it, and forced him to quit coaching cause they said he was too rough. That crushed him and it was too bad. Helluva good guy...

  • Another time, we were working out in the weight room. We were doing bench pressing, sets with 225 pounds, and thinking we were all bad. He comes in, and says "put all the weight you can on that bar". He lays down on the bench, and when he lifted the it the bar bent way down. Had to be 450-500 pounds. He slams it up and down about 20 times, gets up, and leaves without another word. Talk about significant shrinkage.

  • He was my high school football coach. A very intimidating man, but I have loads of respect for him. I went into the Air Force after high school. While waiting for my flight to leave Detroit, I saw him. He changed his flight to NY to fly and sit next to me on the plane. I finally had gotten a chance to tell him how much I appreciated his leadership and guidance. He loved us kids and if you knew how to listen to him, you learned a lot. Hard to believe from what you see on tv....

  • would 've been great.........without the obnoxious... music.get a clue!!

  • MINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • He is much more articulate then I assumed he would be based on his wrestling character. Seems like a shoot from the hip kind of guy that u have to respect. Also seems like a guy u wouldn't want to get into it with.

  • Why did they never let this guy talk?

  • @daj3166 He was portrayed as a mentally ill person. That's why he grunted and yelled YOU! all the time. I know that he was used in WWE as a whipping boy. I'm glad to see him finally get his due.

  • this guy was a school teacher at one point in his life. very smart guy!

  • Bruno Sammartino thought so too.

  • Earl! Dead cat! Hey! You!

  • is he in the hall of fame....cause he should be

  • LOLOL! funny shit. Wow, he seems really cool, I'd like to meet him. This is my first ever seeing him out of character like that, it's odd. I think when you're a kid you don't think of them as real people, like I just assumed he was fucking retarded and acted that way all the time. It's weird to see him talking and acting normal.

  • @XxowendanxX LOL I know what you mean. Check out the interview / bio on Abdullah the Butcher one of the biggest scariest heels of all time and listen to him talk, it is almost surreal. /watch?v=3T_qIuEKQjM

  • @billjohnson001 Adbullah the butcher is before my time, but yeah...I think I caught glimpses of him on TV as a kid and he was scary...an odd, kinna obese physique with blood all over the place...he might be one of the scariest wrestlers of all time...but I read Bret Hart's book and in it he said that "Abby" was a great guy.

  • @XxowendanxX Oh you'll love Kamala's. LOL look up Kamala and Son. Excellent shoots and skits.

  • @LastTrumpets7 wow, haha...that would be funny to see Kamala talk like a person...I heard from someplace that he's not really an African headhunter from Uganda LOL...he's like a normal American black person...I'll have to check that out...I started watching wrestling in college and I thought George "The Animal" Steele's matches were stupid...I was into real wrestling...I thought his entire presence was dumb and a waste of time but now looking back he was funny as shit and I didn't appreicate it.

  • @XxowendanxX Wait till you find out he sings the blues, has cd's out and people BUY THEM!!!

  • @LastTrumpets7 I saw him being interviewed and it was boring...it was cool for the first minute...seeing him interviewed as himself...I remember he was scary as shit...circa 1986...as a savage African headhunter...but all he did was dump on Vince...I know Vince is a selfish bastard I read Bret's book...I didn't need to hear Kamala ramble on about how evil Vince is...

  • Give him a damn turn buckle How the hell can you call him George "THE ANIMAL" Steele without him eating up a turn buckle lmao. God I loved this guy as a kid.

  • this guy is classic! he had a long program with randy savage(which made huge money)

  • the music in the background sucks man.............makes for a horrible viewing

  • Just hope that the music is taken out in the dvd. It is so annoying.

  • When you are well known you can find any job. The resume bullshit isn't needed.

  • WOW!! This guy is completely different than the slobbering retard he used to play...this guy seems insightful and articulate..long live the animal

  • He a college professor actually

  • In reality, George was a high school football coach.

  • I see

  • @mr94chevys10 He was a teacher and has a masters degree.......

  • @mr94chevys10 He is actually a teacher. Wrestled part time through his career.

  • BACKLUNDDD....

    CHEAT!!!

  • Steele had a real good heel rap way back in the day before he evolved into the much more famous character, same name of course. You can hear it here, very articulate guy and great gravelly voice. I never understood the change myself, but whatever works.

  • I read about how The Animal was a Gym Teacher in the fall. It made sense that he only wrestled in the summer. To be a teacher or a coach very rewarding. It was because of one of the football teams to he got the idea to make his tounge green. Amazing what a little food coloring will do

  • He talked about wrestling Andre-I was there in manchester NH-I had no idea what Andre was doing until I saw the shoot interview. I remember George refusing to lock horns and the only real significance of the match was GS kicking Andre in the balls and later Andre gave him that 'European uppercut" that sent GS over the top rope and GS gave Andre the "up your ass" signal and stormed back to the 'bad guy" dressing room with Andre hot on his heels only Andre never went in.

  • HEY YOU!!!

    HEY YOU!!

  • I love The Animal...too bad I couldn't hear what he was saying, or see him very well because of the constant scene transitioning. Why does everyone who posts vids think that there has to be some frickin' music all the frinkin' time? FRICK!!!

  • I was just gonna say the same thing and then noticed you already did. If the video's are anything like this sample; with all the fucking obnoxious music in the background, I'll pass on purchasing the video.

  • exactly, if i wanted to hear music i'd turn on my radio, but when i want to listen to an interview all music should cease. I could barely hear anything.

  • Jim is a truley awesome man, I was lucky enough to have hi, as my football coach in high school, "I was horrible" but Mr. M. always encouraged everyone to do thier best, we still email occasionally today, he's been through one hell of alot in his life, and I still look to him from time to time for guidance, God Bless You Mr.M!

  • best business minded shoot, george prob mad the most money and worked the least, thats a legend

  • Him & Ox Baker would've made a great heel tag team.

  • I agree with you. Is George The Animal Steele still alive? I know Ox Baker is because I met him so many times this year

  • I met him in florida in 2005 at the convention screamfest. super nice guy

  • I love George - he scared the crap outta me. I totally bought his act and said aloud once, "my God, where did they find this mindless animal???" Yep - fooled me but good. He's still alive and lives in Brevard county I think.

  • I hope that annoying background music isn't on the actual interview DVD. And, mike the guy better. Sounds like he's mumbling most of the time.

  • Or at least turn down the annoying background music so you can at least have a chance at understanding the guy

  • wow..he can TALK!!!!!LOL

  • I love shoot interviews. They're a wonderful source of entertainment, but the people who do them HAVE TO INVEST IN A BOOM OR LAV MIC!

  • Fucking awesome!

  • Wow George "The Human" Steele i am glad i saw this, when i was younger i always thought the guy was a real psycho. As orchestratic as the wrestling is the old school boys really knew how to put on a good show.

  • Jack Nicholson is his best friend. How cool is that?

  • Haystacks Calhoun had diabetes and he naturally didn't want to bleed and everyone knows why. The wounds don't heal too quickly! No one can be overweight forevers and not have diabetes sooner or later even at an early age!

  • Him and Savage always had classic battles.

  • George actually only worked for Vince during the summer. He was a schoolteacher during the school year.

  • Someone told me George Steele is mentally retarded.

After seeing this proved him wrong.

Seems like a nice and funny person. I like the part about him shoving Randy Savage's head in the toliet.

  • Jim Myers Has a Website worth seeing!

  • I'd love to rub his belly!

  • Hey! Guess what!? George "The Animal Steele and Greg The Hammer Valentine are in a comedy now! It's called Somethin' Fishy! It's about how Greg got George intrested into buying a fishing camp. George finds a woman named Faith. It's loads of fun and laughs! Watch the pilot video at SomethinFishyMovie!

  • Terrific..one of the greatest wrestling stars ever.

  • Elizabeth?????????

  • Wow. Does anyone else thinks he kinda looks and talks like Lou Duva?

  • I love when he would eat the turnbuckle and shove the stuffing in his opponent's eyes. LOL

  • liar.

  • LOL You don't know that!

  • hell i believe you, how come these ignorant jerks give you a negative..dandy comment..

  • Nice to hear him say they got juice the hard way. Sounds interesting. Bit of a bummer he says he dosn't even like wrestling though.

  • George "the Animal" Steele was a great entertainer. HEY! YOU! He's honest in this interview. He pulls no punches.

  • One of the great bad guys of all time!!!

  • Someone gave you a negative for that comment. I gave you a positive. I don't know why someone would do that. I guess they didn't know about George Steele's gimmick before he became one of the lovable guys.

  • I bet this guy could tear people up 4 reals. You imagine gettin hopped up with this cat!!! Wow, that'd be insanity after he scared all the hot chicks away.

  • George is one greatest wrestling legends of all time.................

  • Yeah, now he tries to get people on his pyramid schemes selling Goji juice

  • I met him at the first WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony in Baltimore. I thought I could get the normal guy out of him, so said to him that I heard he taught at a college and asked him what college he taught at and in normal George the Animal Steele fashion, he just said "State" and that was it.

  • Mr Meyers aka George the Animal Steele is as good as they get. I visited his web page a year ago and the next thing I know is he is on the other line calling me to CHAT.

  • Yeah, I'm guessing he tried to get you on his pyramid scheme selling Goji juice, right?

  • George rocks! Old school man

  • he was great in pittsburgh,pa.

  • he was great in pittsburgh,pa.

  • Hell, I love George!

  • yawn

  • sting should do a shoot

  • He was great in "Ed Wood." This is the first time i've heard him talking like a normal person!

  • if george doesn't "kayfabe" certain answers than this should be a HELL of a shoot

  • He is a true wrestling legend. The video looks great I may pick it up

  • they stopped running shows order off of the RF website its quicker

  • this looks like a great interview. ill pick it up at a ward family promotion event
