YHWH began taking Beastmas out of me 18 yrs ago when i was 1st saved. my children thankfully never knew it that well, except thru family. i know many don't agree w me, but we exchange gifts for Hanukkah (under $1 or 2), which does help. they also know the pagan roots of Xmas. brachot for putting it up

I agree with your explanation of why we should not celebrate X-mas. It is so hard to take this holiday from our loved one's. We were all raised to celebrate His birth in this way. Which is not the way He wants it done. All we can do is tell them.

That is so true. When we decided to truly not celebrate it, there was some tears in the little ones eyes. We need to "teach them in the way they should go"
