@Jeremybaland Sorry again - missed this note, too! I don't like how flimsy the TraX cases feel (and proved to be - had an off in Guatemala that completely ripped off one of the plastic caps, and I used stickers to hold it together until Colombia when I got a metal piece riveted there). I don't like the plastic caps; the rubber seal is flimsy and comes off; they're not fully waterproof. But the new gen addresses some of these shortcomings (and others) - I would buy again.
@dacharyc Ok thanks. Im glad I didnt go with the Trax. I bought Jesse bags and so far I have no complaints. They are water proof very durable and 37 inches across with 100L combine.
@yanickdery Wow, just saw your note - was in Colombia on the bike when you left it, sorry! I did not use the TraX top box, although I do have the attachment plate for it and use it as a rack to tie down stuff across the back. I ended up with a dry sack across the seat for my tent and sleeping mat, the sleeping bag in another dry sack on top, and a spare gas can where the top case would be.
You said there were things you didnt like about the SW Motech cases, what is it you dont like?

Did you try to set the Trax top Box. Your setup is pretty nice.
