hey check out my video. i ran my 02 z06 down the track too and my time at the track ever and ran a 12.7. be easy on the launch a little less tire squeak is better. and sorry i didnt have the time on the camera because at the track it was filmed with an iphone 4.
I have a 2003 Z-06, and I love my car too. I can see why you miss it. I did 160.2mph at the Mojave Mile, and the airport is almost 3,00 ft altitude losing about 9% of the power. these are fast badass cars. Nice Tribute to it, and unlike a lot of Vette guys you drove it, and enjoyed it.
i was going to say that the times and mph looked low on the strip but then i saw the stats on the track. holy crap that track sucks. you would be traping at least 5 mph faster at a normal track. love the car dude!
Just a question? Is your speedometer off? The only reason I am asking is that the part where you are in the car accelerating your bury the speedometer pretty quick yet your 1/4 times don't back it up. Once again I am not insulting you in any way just asking.

No worries! What you may not have noticed is that the speedo is in km/h and not mph.
