Set's fine. My issue is that I'm trying to watch this and read the score at the same time, and there are significant differences. Don't understand the berry smearing, but worse yet, it's not even in the script. Further, the music written is NOT what's being played or sung..I don't understand this modern mania with changing everything about a play, musical or opera, and calling it by the same name; and worse, saying it's by the same person.

I have to disagree with everyone who says the set is bad, it's very beautiful and portrays the dark tones of the opera that many people, obviously, don't see or understand. Beautiful singing and beautiful set. I'm in this opera currently and I play Hansel and Alice Coote is my model for this performance.
