Mr. McDonald wrote these lyrics at a time of serious concern for America. Government was on a runaway of overregulation, hyper taxation, and promises of the moon. Nobody seems to have considered the gravity of the message in this song. Its easy to get caught up in the sound; let's listen and heed the message. "We the People" are self governing. Time to move responsibly.
