To give my two cents to the Bleach/One Piece/Naruto argument I will only say this.
One Piece has the best characters, best scale and best universe. but the worst overall story (Such as unexplained moves learned, looots of repetition for quite alot of it, etc) and the hardest to get behind art for some people
Bleach has best character designs, terrible story and rip-off of yu yu hakusho
Naruto has best art overall, and a good median of both crap and good moments, but still better then bleach
For the people who think ace died was because magma is hotter than fire that's not true. Ace died because he was focused on saving luffy and didn't use ability because there need to be something solid in the way of the that god damn marine bastard
akainu will die from luffy's hands in the end and i'll celebrate also we were waitig more than 20 episodes 4 ace's rescue and he dies slow in the end wtf why is that?? nobody wanted this end

@whalecat44 Sorry, I wasn't sure if you were serious. I mean really, it doesn't make much sense in terms of how Logia types operate. If Akinu used an ability that could damage Logia types (like Haki) it would make sense. Him explaining that it was because magma is hotter than fire really doesn't.
i don't watch the anime mutch. I read the manga mad by eiichiro oda. In the manga the charakters look mutch better, the environment have mutch more deteyls and i realy hate most of the voices in the anime. It is a great anime but if you want to experience one piece the way eiiciro made it, the most epic way and a mutch, mutch bloodier way, GET THE REAL MANGA BOOKS!!
@machoswedishpotato Im updated in both manga and anime but only in anime where you will feel the full emotion. Because of the voices. for example the cry of luffy. I felt his pain through his cries but in the manga you can only see text. If you would read it,the emotion is there but not much. But i agree with you get the manga and watch the anime in its official website.
@machoswedishpotato The anime was good; right until after the Enies Lobby arc. Now the color's fainter, people are bleeding "pink paint/tabassco sauce/cherry-colored soda", the character designs seem like rough sketches & the subtle changes are appaling. (I would have preferred a bad burn on WB's head; rather than see Akainu burn his internal organs.)
Damn, I had this as a related video to another One Piece clip, so it was spoiled for me that Ace dies :/ I wonder how I would've reacted if it was a full surprise.
Why are Naruto, One Piece and Bleach fans constantly at war? Who gives a fuck. Why not just watch them all? Naruto isn't gay, the anime makes it seem like it is, I don't recall anything in the manga gay and awkward to read. @3bdols3DaS What is it with people wanting characters to die? Bleach is fucktastic BECAUSE no one awesome dies (gin's death was sad though). Shippuuden is in a class of it's own because the storyline is made of gold regardless of death. and I remember that one piece was fuckdamn amazing BEFORE ace died. Thriller Bark was hilarious and the introduction of Bartholomew was epic. Ace's death depressed me, and made me wanna kill Oda. I still follow hoping I'll get over it but knowing I won't.
You can't compare the feeling you get from Watching One Piece... Personally i don't have that fun watching Bleach or Naruto... One Piece is something else... Something Awesome, and the feeling you get, unique :/

Only One Piece and Fairy Tail and get these kind of reaction out of me. 'cuz shit gets real and emotional in those two. Bleach and Naruto just don't have the same kind of hit you in the heart presence.

@BrentHauserman1 are we really gonna count that? That means that Dalton died from Drum Island. His heart stopped but the Isshi-20 revived him. The list of people that should have died in one piece that should have died goes on and on. Starting with Pell, the whole sky island arc is full of people that should have died and yet in the end no one did. That fucking asshole moria should have died. And they take out the most happening guy in the show?? It's worse than when Jiraiya died (naruto)
@3bdols3DaS Gin died -- in a pretty dramatic way. I never really liked Naruto too, but I don't really see why I didn't it's actually pretty good. Itachi and Jiraya both died, and a few others all three of the manga/anime are good even if they aren't all the same. One Piece, Bleach and Naruto are all good; and It'd be pretty sad if any one of them were to end. lol

I support Luffy more then Naruto. etc. In my opinion both anime can't be compared. I would say the fights are better in Naruto, but One Piece is more imaginative/sensitive.

@Sabo3113 Bleach was good for the Soul Society Arc. After that it became plain shit. From what I heard it was originally suppose to end after Soul Society Arc and it should have. After that it just became an endless cycle...He nearly dies getting his ass kicked, finds a way to gain WAY to much power in SHORT amount of time, and wins the fight. Hes almost as over powered as all the Dragon Ball Z characters.
@YouNube5 Yeah well I think Luffy's Gear Second and Third were rushed as well. I mean he never even practiced it, just waited for his next battle that he might have died if it failed..and Ichigo learned as he fought, that's just how he got stronger. He was just that skilled like some people are with sports and math or whatever...
@3bdols3DaS Characters die in "Bleach"; but the pacing is SO slow, the latest arcs are "rehashed" versions of previous ones, and Tite Kubo gives minimum development to everyone else except the main character - and all the other emos.
@3bdols3DaS Agreed. People lose most of their limbs and come back next episode in Bleach. Naruto, I can't comment on due to lack of viewing, and even in the great Dragonball Z, death was cheap for everyone but the villains.
One Piece is the only show that gives us a true idea of how little time humans have in the world. Sure, characters can take ungodly amounts of physical punishment, but the threat of death only moves closer.
@3bdols3DaS I love all three of them, Bleach have died before like alot of the espada's and other enemies (one piece is actually worse then bleach when it comes to people dying, I remember getting kinda pissed off at one piece during the skypiea arc cause so many ppl shouldve died on that yet NOONE did at all same with the crocodile arc like the bird guy) and idk what you dont like about naruto but I think its pretty epic, so lets agree to disagree about naruto
@Alistair102040 The thing that annoys me about Bleach is not that nobody dies, it's that not one of the good guys ever dies. That gets rid of all the tension, because you know there's no other outcome. Plus, when you get to the point that people are blowing up mountains every time a sword is swung then you've gone too far. And there's bits like Ichigo vs Ulquiorra where Ichi should have lost but he randomly gains a new power that's not even been previously indicated, and is never heard of again

( mostly in past ) often they just were not shown dead but you could think that they are dead .. yeah ace and whitebeard appeared just 2 or 3 times BUT they were important .. whitebeard was one of the strongest pirates and now cause hes dead the sea isnt stable anymore its the beginning of the new era and also : ace was lufys brother it was probably the most important human for him and hes dead

Easiest reason off the top of my head why OP leaves the others of the Shounen 3 in the dust: STORYTELLING.

@BrentHauserman1 are we really gonna count that? That means that Dalton died from Drum Island. His heart stopped but the Isshi-20 revived him. The list of people that should have died in one piece that should have died goes on and on. Starting with Pell, the whole sky island arc is full of people that should have died and yet in the end no one did. That fucking asshole moria should have died. And they take out the most happening guy in the show?? It's worse than when Jiraiya died (naruto)

@3bdols3DaS Gin died -- in a pretty dramatic way. I never really liked Naruto too, but I don't really see why I didn't it's actually pretty good. Itachi and Jiraya both died, and a few others all three of the manga/anime are good even if they aren't all the same. One Piece, Bleach and Naruto are all good; and It'd be pretty sad if any one of them were to end. lol

@3bdols3DaS I prefer the fights in Naruto over that of One Piece. The characters in One Piece are much better. Naruto has more twist. I support Luffy more then Naruto. etc. In my opinion both anime can't be compared. I would say the fights are better in Naruto, but One Piece is more imaginative/sensitive.

@3bdols3DaS Why do you need death to be an epic anime? I think Bleach is underrated..it has a really good story line and the ending was great..that is if it ended at the end of the Arrancar downfall arc. Idk why it's still continuing......but One Piece is still #1.

@Sabo3113 Bleach was good for the Soul Society Arc. After that it became plain shit. From what I heard it was originally suppose to end after Soul Society Arc and it should have. After that it just became an endless cycle...He nearly dies getting his ass kicked, finds a way to gain WAY to much power in SHORT amount of time, and wins the fight. Hes almost as over powered as all the Dragon Ball Z characters.

I mean he never even practiced it, just waited for his next battle that he might have died if it failed..and Ichigo learned as he fought, that's just how he got stronger. @3bdols3DaS Agreed. People lose most of their limbs and come back next episode in Bleach. Naruto, I can't comment on due to lack of viewing, and even in the great Dragonball Z, death was cheap for everyone but the villains.
One Piece is the only show that gives us a true idea of how little time humans have in the world. Sure, characters can take ungodly amounts of physical punishment, but the threat of death only moves closer.

@Alistair102040 The thing that annoys me about Bleach is not that nobody dies, it's that not one of the good guys ever dies. That gets rid of all the tension, because you know there's no other outcome. Plus, when you get to the point that people are blowing up mountains every time a sword is swung then you've gone too far. And there's bits like Ichigo vs Ulquiorra where Ichi should have lost but he randomly gains a new power that's not even been previously indicated, and is never heard of again

and what about the scene on sabaody?bartolomeu saved all luffy's mate from death teleporting them far away from the island,and luffy started crying,hitting the ground with his head etc.it seemed more desperate here than when ace dies,and only because maybe he couldn't see his friends for sometime.THIS IS RIDICOLOUS!

( mostly in past ) often they just were not shown dead but you could think that they are dead .. yeah ace and whitebeard appeared just 2 or 3 times BUT they were important .. whitebeard was one of the strongest pirates and now cause hes dead the sea isnt stable anymore its the beginning of the new era and also : ace was lufys brother it was probably the most important human for him and hes dead

@macoibra1 BUT when in one piece someone dies he will never come back .. thats why a live in dbz is worth nothing and also dbz isnt realy a short anime aswell (over 300 eps) .. seriously try to make a story over 10 years which wont get boring or plumb .. thats why one piece is a master work in my opinion .. and yeah sure its made FOR gaining money like ALL animes and in my opinion dbz is even much more overstretched then one piece.. ( compared to the story )
