@FRFM00 Nope, for some reason on this game you get better acceleration out of certain speed corners being 1(or 2) gears higher than you would be in reality. It's an error with the car physics. Some people dont even use a 7th gear and just go gears 3,4,5 and 6. I did make a mistake though in the new circuit because I usually go down to 2nd there but missed my downshift for some reason.
You stay in 3rd gear because you drive with no TC? Interesting anyway.

@TyranoTigger You can acctually find a lot of torque on low revs in F1 cars.
