WTF? If you ate only a few pieces of fruit a day, HOW did you get your 2000 calories / day? Were seeds your primary source of calories? I guess it's true - once you develop sugar issues, they're irreversible and you HAVE to have fats/proteins as your main calorie source.
Before I started eating a high raw, no sugar, low-low cooked fat diet I could not eat watermelon without having a reaction to the sugar. After a while on a healthy diet my body could more easily process the sugar and i could finally enjoy watermelon again! Thank you Natasha for your videos, they are inspiring and to me a blessing from God.
I know that IR is the begining of diabetes. But why cannot the medical profession insist on better tests and quicker diagnosis of early blood sugar problems and more efficieint treatments/instructions on how to cure it and deal with it. I don't care what they say - I believe the technology could be provided if they really wanted to. I'll keep praying that the pros will make their work more about the patients health and not their wealth.....
Another point I must add here is I truely wish that Doctors would take insulin resistance a little more serious than they do. It seems as though all the attention goes into a true diabetic. I understand that they need the most but believe me when I say my health has been totally wrecked to the point of dibiltation which I believe my blood sugar disorder is a major contributer to my problem. I've been to doctor afer doctor with little to no help to heal from a variety of major problems. ..
You have no idea how much this video has helped me. To the point of a major breakthrough of what I need to help me overcome some major, major health problems that after watching this video I believe I have awaken up to the fact that it is because of blood sugar disorder. Thank you sooooooo much Natasha for the work you are doing for mankind. You have no idea how much you have helped me from this video. At least I am pretty sure. I will keep posting......
i just went raw about a month ago and have been having some sugar issues- just like you, sensitive in the morning, always seems to be after lots of fruit, especially smoothies. I thought I used to eat tonnes of fruit (I definately did), but now I seem to be even more sensitive to sugar now raw. Often feel dehydrated, shaky, always tired after a meal, loss of focus, dizzy. ARGH! Shame! More salads, vegetables....great tips from you and wonderful video! thank you for your virtual solace!!

@terajasoos (The dangers of fructos) "Robert H. Lustig, MD, UCSF Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Endocrinology, explores the damage caused by sugary foods. He argues that fructose (too much) and fiber (not enough) appear to be cornerstones of the obesity epidemic through their effects on insulin."

(One major part I'd disagree with this the notion that fibre has an active rather than a passive benefit.)
You're so RAW! My 2 good friends went RAW, and 1 became mentally sharpened, and super-awares. His mind was speeding a million miles a minute. The other one became a big, buff gorilla man. His muscles naturally grew, like the hulk, and his feet even got big. Both had extended comfort ranges, and wouldn't sweat in the sweltering heats, and would be shirtless and shoeless outside in the cold without shivering, and claiming they were comfortable. I believe in RAW. You're inspiring me to live my bel
you look beautifuler and beautifuler every show ..... even a difference from the beginnning ... and of course you are always beautiful ... but you are glowing ...
i am soooo looking forward to getting to your stage ....

i slightly disagree---fruit sugar is not hard to process; its natural to the body

what about fruit sugar?
spekgirl1 2 years ago
In theory it should be ok. It's low GI.
However, I tried cooking with fruit sugar and felt terrible afterwards.
I've subsequently read of others and that they don't get on with it.

Only someone with blood sugar problems can understand what another person with the same problem is going through.
My experience of it is a horrible low-level anxiety.
Good video and I recommend reading the book Potatoes not Prozac. I have no link financially. It just helped me a lot.

No problem. Also recommended is Youtube "water cure". Amazing positive changes from it.
