OMG, leave the singing for those who can sing....your Karaoke version of partridge family songs just suck big time....you play the original pf in the back ground, but you can not even come close to singing lead...God, who told you you could sing???
Wonderful!!! Dean so sorry I'm late stopping in for this one ... sheesh I'll have to catch up ... this was GREAT! Weren't the 70s just the BEST of times?!
A wonderful cover of one of the PF's best songs, Dean. A great job with the video as well. I enjoyed this very much and the memories it envoked. I know I've said it before, but you do choose some great oldies to sing and sing them so very well.
I always felt The Partridge's were under-rated as a musical entity. I recall one song in particular featuring Shirley's lead titled "The Whale Song". Beautiful ballad. David Cassidy was not bad at all, either. You've really captured their style and sound nicely in this one Dean. Five deserving stars. Your friend, John
No problem! This was so much fun, I went and clicked the link to the original show. The only ones who actually sung on the records, btw, were David Cassidy and Shirley Jones. Reportedly, Susan Dey could actually sing but Screen Gems Productions wouldn't let her....I think it was either them or Bob Claver (the show's producer).
David Cassidy was a little angry with Danny Bonaduce, at first. Danny was strumming the bass like a guitar and David corrected him. I think David could actually play.
This also is a very good cover you made.
Thumbs up!
Thanks for posting!

This is so neat! Wow, it's like it's 1971 and it's Friday night on ABC all over again! This is kewl!
Guess who got his start in music because of the PF? Super-guitarist Steve Vai.....
Guess who was a fan of the show and had its tunes on his personal jukebox?
Keith Moon, drummer for the Who!
