You must be right. But I would like to add that Mondino's style is radically different from other great directors : Fincher's style is always too speedy, too messy, too violent, too epyleptic, like also so many other unsignificant shooters only trying to imitate the great ones. Mondino's style is more creative, more coherent, more glogal, and it's a whole universe on its own based on so many cinephile references, very smart, and intuitive.
