This is absurd; all they've done is make a joke out of the rules.

The same exact result is achieved, with a few minor distractive subterfuges.

Do these people truly believe the American people are all stupid?

It's all still there. The free food, the access and the ego stroking.

The people legally bribing our elected officials belong in jail; instead they're filthy rich.

Another absurdity. It'll cost more to cater to 25 additional people (acting as props) who will pig out on the free food than it was before.

So the lobbyists will wind up spending more money (that is eventually all passed along us suckers i.e. consumers who overpay for all manner of products and services) on peddling influence than before this "reform" was enacted! (emphasis on the "acted" ;-)
