did this video actually happen to be played on hard?? lol or in a later playtrough?
because if kiryu is in heat mode i get a ton more dmg then you do ^^ everything else was pretty easy so far on hard but this fight is a bit annoying -.-
@HelloHumanity i see kinda thought so by watching it ^^ still was hard actually because as u mentioned lack of points to put in your char (saejima) and kiryu just has its great tricks :P plus on hard he goes in red heat mode prety fast if u doint watch out.. beated him tho continuing on story gonna stop now tho :P
@WuTangBerlin20 well don't worry right before the end of the game they let you play as every character and finish up anything you didn't get to. My advice is to level up Tanimura as the endgame gets pretty tough if you don't have a lot of his unique skills.
I found Kazuma easy... But I have played every other canon yakuza game which does give me an advantage seeing as the boss system doesn't change much. Intelligent Dodging = Certain victory.
No, not really i guess, when Kiryu beated akiyama and tanimura, he was breathing a bit hard, but never got hurt in the fight, so, he could beat them easily, but he might have a problem with saejima, but i say he still can beat him.
@devilleon7 Its probably safe to put it at levels with one another. Im sure Saejima is a Mine/Ryuji/Nishiki level enemy. Whereas others like Akiyama/Tanimura/Arai/Daigo/Rikiya and Kido are more like Majima level strong. You got the top dogs in the past games but since these new guys were sorta beginning their journey of ass whipping then the final bosses should have been weak with the exception of Kido, he was a fuckin beast lol..just predictable.
Basically wat im saying is Kiryu has defeated those strong dudes who could have very well beat him but he came out on top. The thing is that here. Kiryu is rusty since being stabbed and Saejima is hurt. Kiryu is the more well rounded and technical of the two. Compare Saejima to Goda Ryuji and another big Kansai heavy hitter and you'll kinda see what I mean. That fight from Yakuza 2 came down to technique cuz combos didnt fade Ryuji and he often had combo breakers.
@devilleon7 Considering the fact that Saejima was just patched up after washing up on shore a bloodied and beaten mess, I'd wager that has more to do with why this fight could be considered a stalemate at best.
@thebeginner15 you could say that cause Saejima is so slow and cumbersome. I really think he should have been either the last or second to last character to play. Once you get used to him I think he's one of the funnest to play.
Same thing happened to me in yakuza 3 ultimate skill grudge round Joji Fuma.

@HelloHumanity true :) should be done yet i think overall yakuza 4 is playwise bit harder then 3 but the trophys are easier on 4 ^^

Remember the kiryu vs akiyama and tanimura fight? Now if Seajima was thrown in the mix kiryu might of had a serious problem.

Dude, actually no one got hurt in this fight, not Kiryu or Saejima.
Both of them are trying to attack each other, but they end up in blocking the attack in some way.

I had a hard time with him in the first few tries but I think thats just cause it took me so long to adjust to Saejimas slow fighting style.
