sorry to crush your dreams dude but BMW has assembly lines and production plants in many countries including England, USA, Egypt, and the Shenyang plant in China, and if your Engineer cousin who works for BMW told you otherwise he/she is mistaken, you could check the BMW GROUP website click on COMPANY PORTRAIT then LOCATIONS if you don't believe it,,, but these cars assembled outside of Germany are to be sold only in the countries they are assembled in ...

since 1984 they has learned to do so, as the those made in joint ventures, so the parents don't like to share profit in overseas market, thus customers can see crappy 'indigenous' cars sold, if the production costs is lower than to compensate opportunity costs, it's not hard to image what's next, now many subsidiaries from China including VW, Peugeot and Honda's manufacturing cost are slight below counterparts in Europe, and some starts to export, but not viable in large scale yet.
