  • ... Did anyone else think the rabbit kept flipping its head like that to get the hair outta her face? *giggles* Cute as a furry button.

  • im sorry, but this is very sad,,,poor bunny, she was looking forward to babies..awwwww

  • What type of Rabbit Breed is she?

  • What kind of rabbit is she? She's so gorgeous! I love her coat.

  • This is a total waste of time! But she is cute so I love this video

  • ur rabbit looks like a puppy, no offense there but she is sooooooooooo cute!!!

  • She is absolutely gorgeous I would go ahead and mate her.

  • r u sure this is a rabbit it seemed like a dog to me bcuz of the hair but I don't know long ears? so confusing!!! :S

  • I think this clip was taken in summer. She seemed shortening her hair because the temperature was hotter.

  • you should get a guy rabbit thats just sad thinking that she will be a mommy this time but it did not happen

  • have you had her spayed since the false pregnancies? its better for her health specially if you have no plans of mating ever having her mated.. she's a gorgeous bun. :)

  • i have rabbits, and they never do this but i read that female rabbits might do this because its instint. A false preagnancy, they know they arent giving birth but make a nest anyways.

  • if she is not spayed this is what they will do. my 6 months old bun haddone hise a few time along with the hays she gathered. It's not bad but it not very good for them mentally either - this is what they called false pregnancy. I'll spay my bun next month. Spaying female bun decrease thier chances of getting uterus cancer and my vet told me its better off for the bun as well - mentally

  • when they pull their hair like that without having been bred it means they're ready to be bred. it doesn't hurt them, it's natural. i heard tho, if you breed them WHEN they're pulling hair, the bunnies will be molting 24/7 all their life, this happened to my flemish giant.

  • Rabbits do this when they are in shed mostly in summer or when it's hot it's a natural way of cooling them selfes down! Rabbits also do this when they are pregnant but they make a smaller more rounded nest. Unless your rabbit has been near a unalterd male then there's nothing to worry about! I even see some of my males pulling there fur out lol Cute bunny btw x

  • she wont be pregnant some times it a fantom my rabbits mated and she had babies 21 mont 2 weeks after and they all died when i was 12

  • shes so cute :D

  • my sister is like that. She has been that way for nearly 20 years. This year she is having twins. So she says.

  • Poor bunny!!! (Wow.. Your bunny is scary)

  • my rabbit has never been around another rabbit before and has tiny bumps on her stomach their like nipples?(i dont no what they are!) im very worried and sometimes she pulls out her fur or gathers up her hay in her mouth! please help! reply as soon as possible! Xx

  • @dejay2k8 They are in fact her nipples dont worry! she was probably just going though a false pregnancy! :) She may go though this again in the future! My rabbit Roxy ws a half wild hybrid and 2 months after i got her she did the same thing as what you said yours did so i completely understand any worries you have. Roxy sadly died last October and she never had any babies just a false pregnancy or 2. rabbits also pull their fur when their hot like my new lionhead Does! maybe she wants babies idk

  • has she pulled all her fur out?

she could be having a phatom pregancie, mine did all the time, i think she just wants a baby.

as long as she has had no contact with a un nuetered male she shouldnt be pregnant,

    i hope this helped!

  • please rescue!!

  • Lol cute! I think my Eddy and her will make cute babies. They look so much alike. She looks more like a lionhead than an angora.

  • ah!!! cute

  • It can be dangerous to allow her to do this. She may eventually develop breast or uterine cancer or may have deadly infections of the uterus. She needs to be spayed to prevent these conditions. She is a beautiful rabbit, but many beautiful rabbits are killed each year because they do not have homes.. It is not worth breeding her and adding to the problem.

  • A false pregnancy that happens!

  • I felt bad about the rabbit...

Taking off her fur as a nest :'''(

I hope there's other ways to make a nest...

  • @philliple123 Pulling out the fur doesn't hurt them. When the body realizes (or thinks, in this case) that it's pregnant, it creates more down fur, so when the baby is almost ready to be born, it will be there. At that time, a chemical is released which allows the fur to pull out easily and not hurt the doe, so a nest can be made.

  • could be a false pregnancy but can i just say , she is a truly gorgeous rabbit

  • it known as fake pregnantcy it shows you she is read to mate and basically trying to say here ill be a good mum couse i can make a nest

  • she's beautiful!! I love her hair!

  • omg ur destroying ur awesum hairdo xD

  • that is known as a false pregnancy.Female rabbits have those often when there not fixed or bred. Thats sorta her way of saying shes ready but its up to you to breed her.If not getting her fixed would stop that problem.-Rabbit breeder for 3 years.

  • its perfectly normal for rabbits to make nests without being pregnant my rabbits make nests and rip up news paper for the nest even befor she was pregnant she is pregnant now and am expecting butiful kits

  • aw that's so sad :( you should get her a playmate or spay her she's trying to tell you it's TIME! her biological clock is ticking lol

  • My Bunny Peace is building a nest - without fur and shes FAAAAAT and agressive to the male (Eddie). We arent sure if she is pregnant or not... Can anyone help???

  • go to rabbits online forum, lots of nice people will give you advice!!

  • It´s very nice rabbit!?

  • aw.

"she thought she was pregnant", so cute thinking rabbit!

Maybe she should get a male to mate with anyways? :o

  • that is so cute

  • rabbits don't have padding on their feet like a dog or cat. i have read several places that wire bottom cages are painfull on their feet

  • wow that's a beautiful rabbit :D !

my bunny looks like that but with out the very furry fur :D. My bunny had 2 litters, the 2nd one was a mistake because my friend put her bunny in with mine and she thought her's was a girl... :0

  • hahaha! I love Momo!!!! Great videos! Cute lionhead ;)

  • what food do u fed her if she actual pregnant?

  • sorry, i don't know cos she has never had actual pregnancy before.

  • @esheep1012 just feed her the normal rabbit mix , doubling the feed from day 25 onwards :)

  • It's just a false pregnancy. I got my rabbit fixed, and she doesn't do that anymore.

  • haha it's interesting how bunnies do that! Having babies seems to be the only thing they think about! I luv bunnies soo much!

  • my rabbit went through a false pregnancy...i got scared because i didn't want baby buns running through the house, theyre cute but i get atached to bunnys...sadly she died 2 years later...

  • oh, sorry for that. how old was she when she passed away?

  • about 4, she died of stomach bloat. the vet asked if we wanted her to go through surgery but we said that she shouldnt go through the truama of operration...it was 30 november 2007...the saddest day of my life.

  • acutally no. its called a false pregnancy and many female rabbits go through. and besides, there are no bars on the bottom of her cage.

  • If she is a Pet only rabbit, she NEEDS to be fixed. She will have a longer life if you do fix her. If you really arent planning on breeding her, do her a favor, and get her fixed

  • Your rabbit is just malting it is nothing to be affraid of. When rabbits are hot they tend to take fur from themselves so they don't cook! Rabbits can't stand the heat but they can stand the cold. I really hope I helped!!!!

  • it's nothing to do with the heat...she does it even during winter...according to the vet..it's false pregnancy...she thought she had a baby & need to build a nest for the baby.

  • @esheep1012 I agree. False pregnancy/labor. Poor little girl really wants a baby! Cute video. I love the way you put it together!

  • no, actually, she's going through a false pregnancy. many female rabbits go through this, usually through puberty, and believe they are pregnant, so they prepare a nest even if there are no baby bunnies on the way.

  • You guys are all so stupid..this is called a false pregnancy, where a rabbit thinks she's pregnant but isn't, get her spayed or she has an 80% chance of getting cancer by the age of 4.

  • @animalcrazyirish Umm before you cough up your negative comments about "u better fix you rabbit or it wull die" you have to know spaying a rabbits comes with serious cons research before you do anything tragic...and if you have a pet rabbit that won't be by the oppisite sex, you shouldn't have to worry about neaturing your rabbit

  • aww thats soo sad that she thinks shes pregnant and then has nothing :[[[

  • that is a very good mother u should mate her for real...

  • Momo is the cutest bunny ever! Mines an albino angora. Ehh =/

My bunnies used to pluck fur randomly. I'd say you should maybe hire a male rabbit and get little momos?

  • Horny rabbits....

  • that rabbit looks like a DOG?????

  • thats not a rabbit thats a dog with a blow dry

  • No, not if they are litter trained

  • she was litter trained before, but forgot everything after the cage was changed to a bigger one, even with her old toilet attached! is there anything else i can do?

  • Not pregant , normal actully, its just because she feels lonely, u should take her out more often, my rabbit used to do that

  • i did take her out daily.

  • but if u let a rabbit out won't they pee on the floor or somethin.

  • yes, she will...a little bit...

she was litter trained before, but forgot everything after the cage was changed to a bigger one, even with her old toilet attached!

  • your bunny is so adorable!

  • thank u very much! life with her is great!

  • I have read that female bunnies will nest even if they are not pregnant. I could be wrong though

  • Yes, you are right. My bunny has fake pregnancy 2-3 times a year!
