The other two videos are still available on my channel. Once I get my camera to digitize again other videos will comeback. My old HDD died so the digitized ones I had are gone. I love 80s Pantera, especially I Am the Night and Power Metal. CFH and VDOP were fucking great. So much emotion in the ballads especially Cemetary Gates and Hollow. While lyrics are fine on everything on FBD and on, that's when they went downhill. They shoulda went back to the CFH or Power Metal sound.

Actually, it wasn't Grunge that made Pantera heavier;it was all thanks to an unpopular thrash metal band from New Orleans named Exhorder that released a kickass groove metal demo in 1985 while Pantera were putting on pretty hairspray.

They just flat out based their direction off of Exhorder.

Had it not been them, Pantera would've died as any other glam band just like Warrant or Poison in the 90s.

Back in the alterna-nineties, Pantera seemed to be embarassed by this era. Looking at it now, I see a young band that had so much more talent than any of the cheese metal fucks that ruined metal in the late 80's. Magazines like Guitar World were kissing alot of alternative ass in the 90's claiming that metal was dead, but Darrell was so fucking good that they HAD to give him his own column! He is a true legend of metal guitar and should be recognized for EVERYTHING he did!
