If you hole the processor while touching the pins, you are doing it wrong!
NEVER touch the pins. Should you ever damage the pins, you won't be able to use the processor if the pins are bent!

Yes, You remove that in 2 ways:
If the fan says Intel on it Twist the little screws the way the arrow on them is facing.
If the fan says AMD Remove as I do in the video.
