  • 5:33 That is really cool what Scorsese says about seeing Leo in Gilbert Grape -- that he couldn't find him in it at first.

  • deniro and scorsese please an other film together !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love you, i love goodfellas, taxi driver, casino, pleassssssssssssssssseeeeeeeeee !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 1:53 Ironic, he could've said that about Inception.

  • the problem with the departed is whenever you watch it the second time, its not as good because you already know whats going to happen suspense wise but for the first time viewing its as good as the goodfellas.

  • scorsese is such a genius

  • Leo wasn't even near to what I call perfect actor in Titanic. but he has been improving himself for YEARS and now hes my favorite actor . shame on academy, how the hell doesn't he have an oscar when other bunch of boring actors/actresses got it.

  • @MegaChunti oscars are a joke anyways, goodfellas is one of the greatest movies of all time, and who remebers dances with the wolves? Robbed! leo will get his oscar for "Sinatra" mark my words

  • @mikemontana1990 Although I think Goodfellas definitley should of won the Oscar, I still think Dances With Wolves is a good movie in its own right. Just because a movie isn't as known as other movies doesn't mean the movie is bad.

  • Wow, Leo is somehow very intelligent and well articulated someone of his age. I always admired him, He is matured a lot!

  • They both seem like nice guys

  • Scorsese seems like a lovely man. Very smart and knows who he is and you can see Leo is quite light and funny in this interview which is nice instead of serious Leo!

  • Martins laugh HAHAHAHAHA! xD

  • He's not De Niro, but he's the closet to him in this generation

  • @DINKOvoXo I think you just watched Meet The Parents movies, Leo couldn´t even 1 finger of De Niro.

  • @DINKOvoXo

Yeah he is a fine actor but he aint no Day Lewis.

  • I WANT TO SEE QUENTIN TARANTINO JOHN TRAVOLTA, LEONARDO DICAPRIO, AMY ADAMS & JOHNNY DEPP FACE TO FACE IN THE SAME FUCKING ROOM! MAKE IT HAPPEN

  • The music playing from 0:27 onwards is 'Mirrorball' by Elbow, a fantastic band.

  • Dicaprio looks like orson welles

  • i look like DiCaprio

  • Leo's good but he's no De Niro. De Niro and Scorsese has produced some of the most brilliant movies in cinema. DiCaprio and Scorsese needs to do a high quality film soon.

  • @spxeli

    Start what?

  • @spxeli

No i won't start nothing. Still i think these two make a good duo and i hope they soon make a film that is even better than just 'good'.

  • @Ronaldinhoo11 I just hope Scorsese can make Silence and The Irishman... those will be epic.

  • @spxeli

Yeah. I heard he plans to make both movies. Silence is supposedly his next project and will probably star Daniel Day-Lewis. The Irishman is also a film he would like to do from what iv'e heard and which will star De Niro and Pacino

  • @Ronaldinhoo11 yes. he's hoping to start Silence in the spring. hopefully Day-Lewis will be ready by then.

  • @Ronaldinhoo11 Yeah, but it seems as if DeNiro is doing every role that comes his way...which results to terrible movies....it's just shameful. I hope DiCaprio doesn't end up like that....

  • @KayWildcat

I agree, his last stellar performance was probably 15 years ago, he picks really silly roles nowadays. I too hope DiCaprio doesn't end up this way.

  • @Ronaldinhoo11 what do you mean they need to do a high quality film soon? was the aviator or the departed not good enough for you?

  • @suberkin

Sure they are films of high caliber but no one considers them masterpieces like goodfellas or taxi driver. Those are some original movies right there. I still think these two has collaborated on good movies like those you mentioned. DiCaprio is great.

  • @Ronaldinhoo11 aviator and the departed were pretty "quality"

  • @eurena1090

sure they are, but do most people really consider them masterpieces?

  • "shake that fame! dont forget to shake that frame!" haha!

  • @hpcrazy123 Coming soon hopefully!!!

  • when a great man like scorsese is in front of u ..nd u are not a bit nervous ..then u r great too...!!

  • i think my favorite martin/leo film would have to be the aviator, simply bc leo loved producing and playing that role so much.

    "showmetheblueprints,showmetheblueprints,showmetheblueprints"

  • "And apparently I owe them another picture" HAHAHAHA

  • Where is this from? DVD feature?

  • @da5families No, this is from a interview they did for Sky Movies, a PPV channel in the UK.

  • it's just an interview i think

  • I'm in film school and I hope to be like Scorsese

  • @ieshawshank1 good luck man I am in High School and am wanting to go to film school when I graduate. What school you at

  • you never died Scorcese !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • somebody can tell me how I can get he transcription of this chat?, or even better the translation into spanish?

donde puedo conseguir este video subtitulado???

  • I can't seem to get over the fact that De Niro turned down the mafia boss role in The Departed, don't get me wrong Jack was awsome, but I think eveyone would have loved to see THE DREAM TEAM that is Marty, Bob and Leo!!! The Departed #1, but the others that I've seen were all great too ;-)

  • @SlippyG19 he didnt turn it down. he was too busy directing his own movie, The Good Shepard

  • @minhaj78 lol yes I know, hence why he 'turned down the role'. But thanx anyway.

  • im a straight male, but, I'd fuck Leo DiCaprio

  • Thanks so much for posting this!

  • damn leo is only 37, he has his whole life still infront of him and is a legend

  • the filming in this is horrible.

  • Two legends!!!!!!!!!!!! One is my favorite filmmaker the other is my dearest actor. And can you imagine my happiness seeing their movies together.?

  • The Departed... one of the greatest fucking movies ever. man did i love it

  • @Fuckdisworld93 You seriously need to see Scorsese's older films....you'll see a fine line between The Departed and movies like Goodfellas and Raging Bull.

  • @KayWildcat i plan to watch raging bull, however i have already seen goodfellas. great fucking movie too. but departed is just a tad better in my opinion, but that's just me, not bashing goodfellas in anyway

  • @Fuckdisworld93 Wow.....you are the first person I have ever met to have actually said that. Personally I feel that The Departed is a far weaker film compared to the films Scorsese put at his prime. Goodfellas embraced the aspects of filmmaking for what storytelling inspired him for. The Departed is a brilliant film, which continues to emphasize Scorsese's love for film, but it does not have that "punch" that Goodfellas had.

  • @KayWildcat you're probably right, im gonna watch goodfellas again, because i haven't seen it in awhile. maybe i'll enjoy it more this time :)

  • @Fuckdisworld93 Well, I certainly hope you enjoy it....not just for Scorsese, but also for DeNiro!

  • @KayWildcat oh hell yeah, DeNiro, was one of if not the greatest, opened many doors for today's aspiring actors

  • @Fuckdisworld93 Without a doubt, however, now he's just doing TERRIBLE movies.....

  • @KayWildcat The Departed is amazing, but indeed, movies like goodfellas, casino and raging bull is better.

  • @KayWildcat yeah goodfellas is a better movie in every department the only reason the departed won the oscar is probably an apoligie by the acedemy to scorsese for the fact that goodfellas didnt win last time

  • @BlondieKido94

Did a restart, but Leo and Aronofsky haven't worked together ?

  • @woyer86 Oh ok I didn't know it was that kind of list

  • You've obviously never seen The Basketball Diaries

  • Scorsese's best film? anybody? I gotta go with goodfellas

  • @wendywolfman The Last Waltz!

  • @wendywolfman got to be Taxi Driver for me

  • Hey people didn't you notice that they all have got Italian surnames? Even if they don't know a single word of Italian....it's a pity they don't know anything about their origin and I don't think they are so proud to be of Italian origin....also if it's very far....

I like Americans but , for what I can hear and see around , this love is not corresponded...

  • These two elitist douchebags are making fun of all the effort the interview crew have put into this.

    Fuck them.

  • Great Hair

  • same haircut jajaja

  • Dicaprio is getting better and better as an actor , I remember back then in the 90s for me he was just a pretty face with a decent acting skills , but after he did started working with Marty that he step on the next level of acting, I mean if you watch the Aviator and Titanic you will see what I'm talking about

  • @dejabu24 what do mean hes crap in Titanic, in aviator he should have won an oscar so are you saying hes gotten better from titanic?

  • @adsasfd no I'm not saying he was crap on titanic but for me theres a clear different between Leo before and after martin scorsesse

    thats all

  • @dejabu24 agreed..he got way better...

  • @dejabu24 lol romeo and juliet, man in the iron mask, the beach

  • @dejabu24 i poop in your face

  • @dejabu24 : he did extraordinary work in films before titanic ... whats eating gilbert frape , this boys life, basketball diaries etc ... wat change occured after scorsese ws that he got some serious roles...nd he did them perfectly

  • @dejabu24 His best role was before Scorsese, What´s Eating Gilbert Grape.

  • ZarahLean do us a favour and go kill yourself

  • De Niro was Martin Scorssese's leading man 1970-1990.. Now Dicaprio is

  • 10:47-10:49

    SCORSESE LOOKIN ADORBS

  • It's so weird to see someone be so casual and jovial with a living legend like Scorsese.

  • dicaprio is the shit, except in his gay first movies

  • "Shape that frame. Don't forget to shape the frame. That's it".

  • CALVIN CANDIE!!!

  • Scorsese looks like a mafia kingpin over there, lol

  • @Bullsfan2008DR when in this do you see that, about scorsese??

  • I luv Leo's laugh at the end :) so cute

  • omg 7:00 makes me laugh loads lol

  • That's the last film we will with Scorsese and dicaprio...his next film don't star dicaprio

  • @brainsick213 we will see ;)

  • @JanNeshen trust

  • @brainsick213 why u think so?

  • @JanNeshen well he did it wit deniro and he seems to find a new actor to stick wit every other film

  • Two legends!!!! Leo is a true legend!!!!!!

  • Ignore the internet troll "thechallenger9000" who is a creep and weirdo who has followed me around and messed with me. All he has is this fantasy world of old movies and no one could care what someone who lloks like the inside of a sewer thinks about old films

  • Great upload to. Two gigantic cinema legends face to face. Love it.

  • Leo's awesome lol.. i love him! these two have so much respect for each other =)

  • Cozy conversation :)

  • Lol, I Remember Watching This On TV

  • AMAZING!

  • DiCaprio is like.. I cant believe Scorsese takes me serious ????i

  • Oh my god there laughs are.....BEAUTIFUL!

  • I want to see an actor or actress who's talents supercede their physical beauty.. it's easy to watch someone on screen who is "beautiful" . But to make the audience feel admiration, love, and desire for a character who is less than beautiful takes an enormous talent from the actor's end. make me love you at your worst... not pity.. but love!!! is there such an actor out there?

  • @conlou67 steve buscemi ^^

  • @conlou67 Mohanlal

  • I think martin Scorsese is a visual genius... he has a flair for perfection in every film he directs.. the fact that he chooses to use Robert Deniro, and Leonardo DICaprio in many of his films does'nt surprise me. I have always been in complete awe of Robert Deniro's screen performances.. he has mastered the ability of complete illusion..he makes you believe he is the "character" that he is portraying in his films. He is versatile on many levels..comedy,romance,drama,thriller. etc..

  • Ha, this idiot blocked me. Fuckin' immature shit. Stay off youtube if thats how your gonna act.

  • OMG I love them so much!! It's completely fascinating to watch them talk to each other- they are such geniuses of film!

  • I would love a Robert de niro , Leonardo dicaprio movie directed by Martin Scorsese

  • they both have lovely smiles, martys teeth are so bright!

  • Leo looks a lot like Chris Nolan, like they're brothers...

  • wat leo says in 5.57...i really cant get tht...plss tell me guys...

  • @jkalai2010 I think he's saying the name of the cinematographer for This Boys Life.

  • they bounce off each other well

  • If you love Goodfellas...

Check out our parody of the "Funny How?" scene from Goodfellas.

    Search- Goodfellas : Unleashed.

Please share it with any Scorsese & Goodfellas fans you know or just a friend.

  • Is it just me? Or do they talk like two very good friends who don't know each other very well?

  • Martin Scorsese and Johnny Depp do a movie together?

    anybody agree?

  • This is so beauuuuuutiful!!!

  • Pure class. It's good to see people with genuine respect for each other talk like this. It's real easy to watch a lot of youtube vids and get a negative feeling towards punk ass actors who take themselves too seriously and act like meatballs. I completely respect both of these guys and will watch anything they make. They are on on a roll and I hope they can keep it up. But it'll be tough. Anyways I just wish DeNiro, Pacino, Depp, and Gandolfini were at the interview too and it was longer.

  • oh dear he is old now too many wrinkles

  • @anfosi wtf. Go fuck yourself, I hope you develope AIDS

  • @Johnny89Applez talk to my ass bitch, you kiss leo's ass.

  • @anfosi How am I kissing his ass. Am I talkin' to a fucking 10 year old?

Im not defending DiCaprio, I'm calling you out because that's a stupid fucking thing to say to ANYONE.

  • @Johnny89Applez that's your opinion anyway, I don't care

  • @anfosi More like everyone's opinon. Ask anyone, they'll agree with me. Of course there are the occasional idiot like yourself that won't. Nice reply btw, "I dont care." Immature little shits like you scattered all over Youtube.

  • @anfosi @anfosi More like everyone's opinon. Ask anyone, they'll agree with me. Of course there are the occasional idiot like yourself that won't. Nice reply btw, "I dont care." Immature little shits like you scattered all over Youtube.

  • I love Shutter Island, and I'm very proud to say that I found the twist a real SHOCKER, no idea it was coming. Leo was amazing and heartbreaking top film in my opinion :)

  • 07:03 Leo is such a badass :))

  • i love the end!!!

  • That idiotic music starting of this clip, awful...

  • menudo par de machos alfa van a juntar .. jaaaajajajaj

  • "leo"s prime job is not acting or astounding you or anything primarily, but simply to be a role model, a pretty identification figure, box office cash dragger, exotic model and whatnot! typical (historical) hollywood face casting. talents clearly second winner there!

like so many others, hes not really a bad actor... imho

  • @jutubaeh What I admire about "Leo" though is that he started off as the pretty face, with talent coming second. But he managed to change it around for himself. I mean, he's pretty now, but talent's clearly first in his most recent films. He could have easily have gone for the kind of rom-com roles that lack both rom and com after Titanic, but he didn't. He did films like this - Shutter Island.

  • @PushingPies

I disagree...Leo was always an actor first, I mean have you seen his early movies. Leo does one movie like Titanic and everyone forgets how he got his start.

  • @PublicICON Yeah, I have. You are right there, The Basketball Diaries was especially great. I shouldn't have classed Titanic as the "beginning", I was trying to get at jutubaeh. All I'm trying to say is, after Titanic, he could have easily gone the crappy rom-com direction with his films because people fancied him. But, he didn't. That's why I completely disagreed with jutubaeh.

  • Leo's not quite there yet, but he's capable of being as great as De Niro was in the 70s and early 80s ( particularly in his work with Marty). It's great that Di Caprio wants to work with directors like Scorsese who give actors scope to delve into characterisation. He could easily join the Pitt/Damon trend of doing the big box office action nonsense but he genuinely wants to do quality work that will last

  • Theyr so funny in here!

  • leonardo is perfect. martin is perfect.

too much perfection in one conversation :)

  • I've never seen Scorsese in such a silly mood before.

  • dear god i love leo. He just...has something about him. he just seems so incredible.

  • @IAmMe410

Y'know I rented Critters 3 the one time, that was his film debut

He had the charisma all the way back then like he still does know

He was out acting all the adults in the film for crying out loud

Apparently his performance in Inception is just super incredible

    Can't wait

  • @IAmMe410 He is very Charismatic you can really see that, especially in his more recent films

  • As a filmmaker I envy these types of actor-director relationships. Scorsese is a lucky director in that aspect, to have De Niro and Leo.

  • @TheSlackerebel... Maybe Luck just ain't got a fuckin thing to do with it, you know?

  • @TheSlackerebel You're a filmmaker?

  • @TheSlackerebel The're lucky to be in HIS presence.

  • @TheSlackerebel

De Niro & Di Caprio don't usually make a film great by themselves when the director doesn't know what s/he is doing. (i.e. Rocky Bulwinkle, The Fan, Brazil are De Niro films that were less than impressive).

In contrast, Scorsese can make an entire film better by his vision, direction, editing, music-selection & screenwriting even when the actors are not sure yet of what they're doing. Scorsese makes actors better moreso than the converse of that.

  • @MrLarryLessor Brazil is pretty much Gilliam's masterpiece.

  • @TheSlackerebel Well, sure, but both De Nire and DiCaprio are infinitely more lucky to have Scorsese.

  • @TheSlackerebel And Harvey Keitel.

  • @TheSlackerebel

No, De Niro and Leo are lucky to have Marty Scorsese.
