First, United States Native Americans are not Indigenous. We are individuals from different tribes, and it is our Tribal names that identify who we are. Indigenous is a term to further scrub away our identity. Indigenous is a plant in the desert. A rock on the moon. Ducks in Canada. If i may say so, I have been to the states many, many times, and even lived there for 2 years. and i thought i had seen misery and poverty when i went to india !
