That Giratina is just a Beta-Version, although it is an Official Sprite it was not put in Platinum. To Summarize, It's just another version of Giratina Origin Form

It is put on the Platinum game. Its just harder to get. You cannot catch this form. But with a special orb (Sorry i don't have my Dsi with me so i don't know the name) You can allow it to change forms.

It's just transforming into simple "Defeat the other trainer!" into "Stop Dialga from destroying Time!" If you ask me, it's gotten a LOT better... One of the coolest Pokémon ever is still Nidoking, though.
