  • 2:03 lol

  • what the heck kind of noise was that guy making at 8:38?

  • It would have helped if our offense showed up to this game. Thank God for Allen's pick 6

  • We are about to get raped by the Badgers.

  • Wish I could have been there but a basketball coaches clinic 5 miles east of Ross Ade took me away.

  • wow announcer..."GPS says...ENDZONE"..wow....

  • The bad: Offense needs to protect the ball, capitalize on opponents' mistakes, not give up big penalties, and improve on kicking.

The good: This is the defensive effort I want to see show up against Wisconsin and Ohio State. If that defense comes to play, Michigan has a chance to win one, maybe even two of those game.

The ugly: The fact that @WolverineHistorian still uses a VCR. I keed, I keed!

  • @AnistonAnarchist

We need a better defensive effort against Wisconsin. We basically broke even...weather and Purdue's godawful offense helped us out, but we were missing Martin and Mouton, our two best defensive players. If Rogers and Avery (and Vinopal, for that matter) have good games again, I feel pretty confident.

  • Roundtree has been a lot tougher than I expected he'd be. Honestly, I had been sorely disappointed in our receiving corps the last few years because it seemed as if the era of big names was over. Roundtree seems to have perhaps revived something. Possible #1 jersey in his future?

  • @Ooftyman

There's definitely been talk about giving the #1 to Roundtree, but only Braylon can decide that now.

  • @TheZooCrew I love Braylon as much as the next guy. But I don't think he should have a say on this matter.

  • @WolverineHistorian

Neither do I. But the conditions of the scholarship he endowed allow him to do so.

  • I can imagine that cheerleader at 8:50 saying something under her breath lol. "GO BLUE! GO MICHIGAN! i'm freezing my fucking ass off in this hell hole." GO MICHIGAN! lmao

  • Quick question...does the "fumble" around 12:00 look more like a tuck-rule incomplete pass from that angle? It wasn't even reviewed, which I thought was a bit shady.

  • Ball security is the most attrocious thing about this Michigan team... not the defense... not the kicking... BALL SECURITY!

If someone told me we would turn the ball over five times in back to back games... AND WIN!.... I wouldn't believe it.

  • I was at this game. It was pretty good.

  • GPS says End Zone? Wow. That had to have been the worst line I have ever heard.

  • 5:53 is TOO funny!!!! DENARD CAN'T TACKLE! Pryor would've destroyed that Boilermaker! GO BUCKS!

  • @osubuckeyes459 Shut up! Pryor is nothing but a hack.

  • Whats with all the complaining?? We won the game, the D played lights out and with 5 turnovers and bad weather thats what u need....Defense!! and sombody other than the qb ran for 100 yrds,it could b like last year and we could of lost this one,but yall wanna find ways to keep complaining.Firing RR will set the program back,we gettin good defensive recruits that keep commiting(Dallas Crawford) so coach knows we need D,we converted wr's playin corner for gods sake,we 7-3 give the dude some credit

  • danny hope = pwnd

  • Im fucking tired of everybody hating ON MICHIGAN we are (7-3} possible (9-3} with a bowl win dammit we won accept it move on

  • @Aka326 We finish 7-5, we wont beat Ohio st. nor the badgers.

  • I was at this game, it was raining the entire time and no one seems to associate that with the turnovers.... another thing, it started raining harder whenever michigan had the ball... it was almost like Purdue had a machine that controled the weather haha

  • Good vid, even with this win, it's proves our play calling sucks.

Who idea was it to have D-Rob punt the ball? Thts just dumb, anyways Go Blue.

Next year with our new head coach, he better start the real QB on the team.(Tate)

  • @InsaneBlaze23 lmao you are hilarious

  • @youngobes yes tht I am, I try too be.

  • @InsaneBlaze23 You can't honestly believe RichRod is getting fired after this season.

  • @McSomething15 wht, u think just because our record he keeps his job?

This teams defense is trash, and the offense has bad playcalling. Also we can't win big games, MSU,Iowa,Penn St,OSU,etc. The only close to big name school we beat was Notre Dame. Beating the low ends of the big ten, and college football leads to nothing. IMO

  • @InsaneBlaze23 The offense has bad playcalling? Is that why we're one of the top 5 offenses in the country? The defense is trash? Please, for the love of all that is holy, look at the depth chart's two deep and tell me how many freshman and sophomores you see. Go ahead. I'll wait.

  • @McSomething15 FINALLY,A REAL MICHIGAN FAN HAS ENTERED THE ROOM!! u tell me how many teams in ncaa is rotating about 8 freshman on dfense and about 3 of them that are converted from wr?? We r 7-3 support the club it could b alot worse.....THESE DUDES IN HERE AINT REAL MICHIGAN FANS......STOP COMPLAINING AND GET ON BOARD OR ROOT FOR SOMEONE ELSE!!

  • @PNAS99 I've been a Michigan fan my whole life, so don't say I'm not a fan.

If we played any of the good teams this season, what would our record be? It be wont 7-3, learn how to not be biased, and pay attention.

  • @InsaneBlaze23

    Speaking of paying attention...

What team counts as "good?" Notre Dame just annihilated Utah. Maybe they're more legit than we thought. Illinois went into our game with the 12th ranked defense.

Something to understand...when a team loses to us, they are no longer as good as they were before we beat them. It's pretty impossible to beat a "good" team in the eyes of the public because afterward, people start talking about how that team sucks.

  • @InsaneBlaze23 It will be interesting to see how Michigan does against Wisconsin and Ohio State. I agree with you.

  • @InsaneBlaze23 7-3 is what we need as a young unit to have confidence against the tougher comp....i pay attention, and we can play with the big boys.......but i support the club and RR. We all know the obvious(need more bodies on D,stop the turnovers etc)we that bein said,WE ARE STILL 7-3 AND COULD BE 3-7. So lets build off that and support the positives and BELIEVE!! I graduated in '04 and i will be flying up from Buckhead,GA to A2 to be at the game and i BELIEVE WE WILL WIN THAT GAME!! GO BLUE

  • @McSomething15 Really we the top, ok we the top because D-Rob is a beast at running the, and he has a good not great arm, but at the same time he throws dumb picks, not ones that are close to being caught by a UM player, but one with 3 defenders on it. Also let me rsay it again, D-Rob punted the ball...thats just as dumb as having a 400 pound NT kick a field goal.

  • @InsaneBlaze23 No question that he's had some bad turnovers. But those interceptions yesterday look like they just left his hand wrong due to the weather. It was a complete downpoor afterall. And having DRob punt the ball wasn't dumb. He just looks like he needs to practice doing it a little more. Having the ability to do that with your QB really changes things on 4th down when you keep him out there.

  • @McSomething15 No it looked like he should never try it again, I'm not a Lions fan, but do you think they should let Suh kick another field goal? Also yeah it could be a good thing if D-Rob could punt, i like the idea, but not when he can't kick.

  • @InsaneBlaze23 Ever think his lack of ever having done it in a game before combined with the terrible weather made his attempt going very wrong? Yes, having a QB that is capable of doing that is very useful in a game. You're at midfield with a 4th and short situation, you leave the QB out there. Now the defense has to worry about whether you're going for it and playing normal D, or if he's kicking it so that they now have to pull someone back to field the punt. It opens things up a bit.

  • @InsaneBlaze23

Denard's pooch punt at Notre Dame went pretty well. If he sees a crease, he can always dart up and pick up the first if it's 4th and short. Not a bad playcall, just awful weather.

  • @InsaneBlaze23

Iowa just lost to Northwestern. Guess they suck.

  • @TheZooCrew I guess that means we're lucky Northwestern isn't on the schedule this season, because they'd clearly beat us by 40.

  • are you going to do the illinois game?

  • @Madhops88 he did it already

  • Chris Martin is the worst! I know dude went to Northwestern but he doesn't have to use big words when explaining how a play went down. It makes me feel he is trying to hard.

  • this video looks pretty sharp. Doesn't look like the tape came out blurry either. What type of encoding do you use to keep it looking decent on youtube?

  • @Knightmessenger I taped this game on standard play (SP) on my VCR. Yes, in the year 2010, I still use a VCR. It's pretty sad. But I don't have HD TV or a DVR so I have no other choice.

  • @WolverineHistorian Well the defense was the best its been all year.

  • @WolverineHistorian at least it looks good even though you use a vcr

  • @WolverineHistorian How do you get the video digital tand onto your computer?

  • @WolverineHistorian

LOL dn't feel bad I don't have an HD TV either. However if you're familiar with MythTV? You can build your own DVR/PC using that.

  • Glad we won today, but if this win means Rich Rod stays another year, then I will be pissed. The longer he stays, the longer it will be until we're contending for Big Ten titles.

  • Anyone else feel like these announcers were rooting hard for Purdue?

  • @Theaterman527 It sounded like they were Purdue alums, yeah.

  • @Theaterman527

yesss, i thought exactly the same thing the whole game.

  • @Theaterman527 Yeah, everyone seems to have an anti-Michigan thing going. Too bad for them that Michigan won. :)

  • A win on my birthday, yay. Go Blue!

  • Good Job Michigan. No offensive touchdowns for Purdue.

  • 14:45 is an incomplete pass. Robinson got robbed. Why wasn't the play reviewed? Everyone just assumed it's a fumble!

  • gosh, we suck balls.

    please fire rich rod

  • @231Muskegon You're an idiot.

  • 10:05

Wow, 2 guys open in the same spot. You would have think we would have figured out how to defend this after last week. I guarantee Wisconsin will run a similar misdirection play with their tight end next week.

  • @goblue10nis You've got to realize that Michigan has a bizarre point of view on tight ends. Rich Rod doesn't think much of them (he rewarded the touchdown Koger had at Penn State by never using him again); likewise, Greg Robinson doesn't think much of them (simply doesn't cover them well, much less anything).

  • @goblue10nis Uh, they were both covered. By two michigan defenders. Did you see anybody near them last week? Not within 15 yards, no.

  • anyone else catch when roy made his first catch? someone screamed "FUCK YOU ROUNDTREE!!!"

  • @youngobes.. That just goes to show you how ignorant some sport fans can be.

  • it was ugly, but a 7th win guarantees Michigan will be bowling. Was a long shot they would be left out because a win against UMass (1-AA). How much is Wisconsin putting up next week?

  • @zachattack1490 they were never going to be left out of a bowl game. as soon as they won last week they were guaranteed to be bowling

  • hey WolverineHistorian - I found another UM Defensive Touchdown :)

  • That's Pure Michigan

  • That was hard to watch.

  • At least we won but Broekhuizen was awful yet again

  • I missed this game (First one in 6 seasons), and I figure it was a good one to miss. Every announcer just trashes how poor this game was. All I'm concerned about is that we are 7-3 3-3 Big 10, with a chance to shock the nation and knock off back to back top 10 teams. OSU will be beat this year.

  • These announcer sucked. "5 different wolverines came over to tackle him". No, really? I thought 5 of the SAME wolverines came over to tackle him, like 5 Cam Gordens tackled him

  • @MgoMuse these announcers were retarted, there like o no we just found out something that denard robinson can't do, he can't punt!

  • @MgoMuse Yeah, they were really bad. Did they really have to mention every 10 seconds that RichRod had never beaten the Boilers? As if I had to be reminded again and again that we lost 2 straight to this GOD awful Purdue program.

  • @WolverineHistorian almost lost 3, if their offense had had any semblance of order to it.

  • @hailgoblue087

I wouldn't say we "almost lost" this game in any sense, Purdue's offense notwithstanding. Weather is the great equalizer...would Marve have had any more success? What if Martin and Mouton were playing?

  • @WolverineHistorian we should have beaten them both years to, last year to become bowl eligible

  • @MgoMuse "One thing that Sweet 16 has shown is that he will give away birthday presents" -Chris Martin

    BRUTAL!

  • @MgoMuse lmao i said the same thing when i heard that

  • @MgoMuse I agree. What really aggrevated me was when they criticized Michigan for decling the penalty. If they would have accepted, it would have been 3rd and long giving them another chance at possibly getting a touchdown. Instead it was 4th down and all they got was a field goal! Why was that so hard for them to understand?

  • @adpainter77 "We found out one thing that Denard cant do! PUnt and tackle!" Thats 2 things moron, and no duh, hes a QB, not a punter or tackle

  • @MgoMuse

Denard's "tackle" was actually the right idea...submarine and don't get hurt. That dude just made a crazy play staying up.

  • yeah bad game, look on the bright side tho, our defence didn't give up a touchdown =D

  • @weakwork for once our offense was as bad as our defense
