I was one of the two cyclists who turned up at North Road about 4.30, then we went to Bank Top yto catch our train home, been on a bike ride to High Force, hence didnt have the usual video gear with me and seeing Tornado was a bonus.
Excellent filming for a little camera. I filmed it at Stockton (I normally film on the West coast) but only just as we were told that it would be another half hour coming through. As it happened it came through quite unexpectedly minutes after we got told this.
I think the driver had the whellie on going around the loop. Having tried a dry run across the loop to Urlay Nook I thought I'd easily catch her twice- I did but only just.
@TimRuffle They did leave York about 20 mins late, and we were told that they were running from 30 mins to an hour late whilst we waited at Stockton, so they were probably trying to make up a bit of time.
Not bad at all! It is good to see another part of the tour, I was waiting patiently at North Road when you were recording this.
