For all the people making fun of him stripping shit. He was just trying to get the 400 or so pounds off like the CSL M3. The CSL gets so serious that a radio and a/c were only options. I guess instead of spending an extra 15 grand he just wanted to CSL his M3 himself,

I agree gutting interior makes your car a few tenths quicker but I've learned that leaving in the door panels, center console, and dash doesn't make much of a difference over taking them out. The farthest I'd go is toss the carpet and sound deadening, toss the back seats and trim behind the front seats, and gut the trunk. Then carbon fiber where ever you can.

@misfit2910 Dedicated track car. Yet it's on street tires and on the street. With a stripped interior, you will lose 50lbs for rear seats and panels. Take out AC, passenger seat and radio, then you lose more. But then it comes down to what you're stripping.. an E46? Not worth it... Right...

That little thing was really light with no interior, and I know the e46 can use to loose some weight.... but you do have a point. Its an e46 M3.... Its too nice to get rid of.

lol your retarded porsche is more of a track car company then BMW. Look at GS races. So much more work to fit out e46 m3's then 911 gt3's. Porsches are designed engine wise and body wise for the track BMW's are very good cars but are not really comprable to 911's unless you after market them alot.

This day was fun...Haven't seen this clip yet, just the original Showdown in the Everglades. Guys check out part two where Evan drives the Gallardo and Juha returns with his M3 (which I got to race against with my truck ;) The two M3s were surprisingly close to each other, but somehow were mismatched when facing the 911 Turbo....with blue AA stage 2 losing more to the Turbo than the yellow M3.
