I am honored to know Charlie and have him in one of my classes,I will never forget when we were playing trashketball and he wanted to shoot it. No one thought he could, but he did.I was amazed. I was amazed that he wanted to challenge himself and that he could do it as good or just as well as anyone else.Charlie's story makes me as an athlete work harder,I feel like if he could see nothing could stop him. He is such an inspiration most people who are blind would use this as an excuse not Charlie

i played against this kid during my freshman year. my teammates were talking about some blind dude that was on ESPN. & they pointed to the guy i was going against & was playing some center/guard. i had 3 sacks that game & was getting in the backfield alot & went to KFC to celebrate. we beat them bad, & this dude was decent, but i give him props for someone who is blind. Hopefully i can meet him again for the next two years on the football field even though I'm switching to safety this year

Wow, kinda makes you regret times you may have said its to hard or wanted to give up in sports, I've seen an all blind football team play before and a deaf team, but this kid is the only blind kid on a 'regular seeing' team, and with the speed of the game he is not getting special treatment during the action - WOW, keep it up Charlie, you're amazing kid! *GREAT MOM IT SEEMS TO!*
