    " Step it up and go " ; < ) Erik / Ricky T. @ Florida

  • Memories. I saw every UK tour since the reunion. (Sometimes two shows a tour). Thanks for posting.

  • just adore the Everly's

    found a new one--for me.

leave my woman alone / everly brothers

    love it.

  • I saw them in concert in Adelaide, Australia when I was 15, I am now 41!! It is good to see that they are still out there singing away!!

sssh....I still love Phil the best, but it looks like he has packed on a few pounds! I hope he was wearing elastic topped pants!! Thanks bwdavy for this one!

  • Their voices are from some Kentucky angel! The same one that watches over me!

  • Easy to love.,

  • Easy to love, good.

  • Man I hope they tour at least once more. I'd love to see them live.

  • The Everly Brothers "dreamy" harmonies always SENDS ME! Thanks to ebfan41 for the share and to bwdavy for posting it!

  • From the era of Sam Cooke. And we took them all for granted. Listening on the beach in the summer on these little transistor radios. Whew.

  • I agree! For the assholes who say that folk-rock is old and dead! I am 50 years old and I have been singing since I was 12... welll I still sing folk-rock and my life is blessed for that!

We will miss you Mary! God bless you

  • they still rocks!!

    but don's voice is better

  • I think in the last concerts they sang what they wanted to and would enjoy. Maybe some of what they would have recorded. There is talent like them out there but the world seems hell bent on going toward no talent music. No talent in screaming and rapping and hip hopping or loud roat country.

  • The great Albert Lee on guitar in the background. Becky has done the sound for me once. What an honour!

  • Sou fã de Crosby Stills and Nash e Neil Young,e agradeço aos Everly Brothers por influenciarem estes músicos maravilhosos quer temos ouvido ainda hoje.

  • Don still rocks.

  • Beautiful. Makes me want to fall deep in love. I just want to be with my loved one. And I want to go to the highest mountain and tell everyone. You will always be the one true lover of my heart and soul.

  • They are definitely , as "strandwolf" said 1 year ago, more than an oldies act. Far beyond that. I love this video. Thanks for posting.

  • can we have the whole concert?

  • A few more videos from the show were on here, but they got removed. I live in hope that its because a DVD will be released of the final ever tour.

  • AWSOME VERSION

  • I like what they do with this song. I especially enjoy hearing them sing songs that were not hits for them. Nothing's wrong with the hits, but they're so much more versatile.

  • i like the everly bros

but they killed this version of a sam cooke classic

  • good job filming! nice concert and song. :)

  • Nice...Nice

  • The Everly Brothers...great sound, and pure voices...but, does anyone have a video recording of Sam Cooke singing this jem? Please send it to U Tube - I guarantee you'll make me and and a lot of other fans very happy. Just asking. Andrew

  • The great Sam Cooke! How few people now know who he was. He should be required listening in every HS and college music program. IVe got this song by Sam on Vynel, but not CD.

  • I looked in U Tube. Very surpised Sam Cooke version is not there. You will find him sing live on the VHS Best of American Bandstand.

    Love the Everly Brothers.

  • This IS black music!

  • @lldadserseres wash out your ears you arsole!!!!

  • Glad this video is still up. MAN they sound good. They need to perform and record more! B.B.'s still doing it...

  • This LIVE version sounds great to my ears. At every decade, these guys are very real and do not pull back from trying something new and different. Thanks, D & P & bwdavy for posting.

  • I would love to listen to more of this concert!

  • Their voices are still fine after all these years. Never get tired of the Everly brothers.

  • to me this song will always be sam cooks and i can't figure for the life of me why the everlys sing this song, it just isn't them

  • I LOVE this!!! The brothers can still sing and I still love them-esp. PHIL!!! Do you have the rest of the concert??? Thank you so much bwdavy!!! Does anyone have "That'll Be The Day" from the 1960's UK TV show the Everlys appeared on??? It was just taken off Youtube and I cannot live without it!!! PLEASE reply if you know anythtng. ty!

  • Phil and Don still HAVE IT! Thank you for posting this. It makes me want more. Truly a staying power and Better than today's "so called artists".

  • Well done, I managed to record this one on an mp3 player at Ipswich but you did great getting video, Evelys perfect as ever.

  • I usually try to avoid "comeback performances" because it's sad to hear aging stars lose their once beautiful voices. This is one performance that breaks the mold. They sound fantastic! Thank you for posting this.

  • Why do you call it a "comeback performance" when they've been performing off and on since the 50s?

  • If the Everlys were 90 yrs old and doing a "concert" on their front porch, I'd be in a rocker turning up my hearing aid . .listening. I've never heard better harmonies in my life. And I've never seen a bad performance from them. True American idols. Take a lesson young artists. . this is how to make it to the top.

  • Take it you missed their 1974 Knotts Berry Farm gig....

  • Not being a Californian, I didn't see that one. .but I'm keenly aware that it was the show where Don threw his guitar at Phil and stormed off the stage. Easily a "bad" show, that one. That kickstarted a self imposed feud that lasted for the next 10 years. However, when they DID reunite in '84. .on the 'EB 84" album and tour, it was apparent that the time spent apart hadn't ruined their chemistry. You know the rest. That's when I picked up their trail again. They're musical icons. My idols.

  • I idolize them, too. Love their uptempo stuff, like Bird Dog, Cathy's Clown, Wake Up...etc. This tune is a bit syrupy--I don't even care for the Sam Cooke take. They're more than an oldies act, but like Elvis, I like the rockin' 50s stuff.

  • It's reported that Phil [fed up with his brothers performance] slammed his guitar into the stage and left ... Don was feeling no pain and [after the manager sobered him up] he performed a solo show with none of the Everly standards in it.

  • All I can say is, WOW (and then shut up and listen).

  • The Everlys taught me to harmonize from listening to their Reunion show at Albert Hall. As a kid my old man used to listen to it constantly and it gave me a good lesson in two part harmony.

  • They still sound great as hell !

  • Pretty good cover of a Sam Cooke classic.

  • this version ROYALLY sucks!!!

i like the sam cooke original and the micheal bolton rendition of it

  • If you like Bolton more than the Everlys than you must be a genius!

  • There's no doubt Sam Cooke's recording was a classic and Micheal Bolton's soulful rendition was pretty good. The Everly's version was done in the heartaches and harmonies style we love them for. I was at this concert and they came back to and sing this song for an encore and stormed the place. Unfortunetaly the sound

mix on the video does not do the preformance

justice. If you get chance, listen to the recorded version on the "Born Yesterday" album
