1/8 mile. The rear wheel drive, rear engine Porsche will get the jump every time as the Lambo's AWD system bogs down off the line. Notice the huge difference in trap speeds after just an 1/8th mile?

You can clearly notice how the Gallardo is even with the Porsche on the top end, keep in mind also that the Gallardo has a higher top speed so it would eventually catch up and pass the Porsche. Porsche 911 turbos have always been known for their explosive acceleration, Lamborghinis and Ferraris for their top speeds.

@hdidane00Actually, you are only right in that it is still built in Italy, by Italians. If you took apart a Lamborghini, it would have VAG stamps on many components. Collaboration, but not in house design. Also...Italians = Soul, Germans = Engineering. Those are the general labels bestowed on each's cars for decades.

Cmon its the fastest Porsche there is, Yes faster than the carrera GT vs the slowest Lambo, What the fuck does every body expect? The porsche has more hp, Weighs a little bit more and has AWD... Put it against the Murcialago sv or the Aventador and see who wins then :)

@mcmanus1806 I think you don't know that in fact the Superlegga is a modified version of the Gallardo. The Superlegga is also a AWD the only Gallardo that is RWD is the Valentino Balboni edition. You are lacking some facts in this story.

OOOOOH if i would choose the porsche i should beat the lambo for an half second in a race of 400 meters WOW but the lambo owner still remains the badass between us.. sooo.. the question is.. if you have to buy it.. will it interest you who's faster for 0.5 seconds in a race of 400 meters? I love the sound of the cars.. I'm grateful that Porsche has consistently produce cars that perform and provide the best return on investment.. you just can't compare what you get to anything else...I was in the Porsche club for Many years and did a lot of events/tours/auto-x, track events,rallies..etc...Porsche is where it's at...you can't beat their programs, opportunities, and support. I drive an 03 BMW 330Ci now . if they come up with a Cayman S Twin Turbo.... :)
