I just switched from the Android Samsung Vibrant and I am so glad to be back to the black berry. I dont know why I ever got rid of my 9700 for the Android. Ya the larger screen makes facebooking easier, but who cares.. I just got the 9780 and I can tell I am texting faster because I dont fat finger as much and that damn auto correct syndrome does not get me in trouble lol

i have a torch, and is very good. you guys are wrong, the torch is really fast and the spirit of blackberry is ok, cause we have the keyboard! The sprit is killed at storm 1 and 2.

Do you think the Torch's keyboard is easier to type on or is the Bold 9700 easier?? I currently use an Iphone 4 but am looking for a phone more that is more efficient. Although I think the onscreen keyboard of the iphone is pretty good. Do you think the Blackberry's keyboard would be better.

@dlion24 I switched from an iPhone 4 to a BlackBerry and I don't even regret it. Way better battery life. If you like the apps, you should just sell your iPhone and get an iPod Touch. Once you have a physical keyboard you'll love it.

People, the Torch 9800 will NEVER be faster than the iPhone 4 or The 1GHz Android Devices, because Torch 9800 has decent browser + 624MHz Processor while the iPhone 4 and the 1GHz Android Devices have 1GHz Processor + Great Browsers :) Torch 9830... may be faster???

Big mistake by RIM not to put a faster processor on the Torch. Once they do, most likely on Verizon, with the new OS 6, BlackBerry will be back in business.

Since the Opera browser is superior to the stock BB browser, why don't browser comparisons include it? Makes little sense.

suggestion: when doing side-by-side benchmark testing, you should leave them both down on the table, zoom the camera in to see both and hit "enter" at the same time on both.

putting the phone down and lifting it up continuously, with the focus lag is IRRITATING.

@Darryl39345 im thinkin about buyin it & then sellin my hd2 to cancel the contract then unlock it for tmobile.....prolly wont do it though. this phone has mixed reviews i think, like its a good phone coming from the behold but not enough to sway android users but looking at their website they have hundreds of apps, a lot more than the hd2 can get from the windows market & it's browser isn't that great either
